God Leanne and Texas I know their Doug's friends but really they need to go away now, the amount of times they've interferred they might as well be marrying Ste.

This may sounds a little sadistic, but I want Doug to see Ste and Brendan getting back together.
On the other hand, I don't know how much longer I can bare to see his face (I'm not offending PJ - he's a handsome man, I mean Doug).

I just cannot believe that Doug would have Brendan sent to prison for life purely out of jealousy.
If he needs Brendan out of the way that badly then it just goes to show that he doesn't trust Ste one bit.

God don't say PJ and Doug look alike. He might be offended. He hates being compared to somebody like a twin..
It still doesn't say that Brendan confesses TO Doug, just that Doug records him confessing to it.

I find it a bit weird Tilly isn't going with them. Is she not part of their gang anymore?
Could the person that says help me maybe be phoebe because isn't there some spoiler about her and consequences or something I cant remember maybe whoever helps her ends up dying (cough jono)

I don't think so its just that if a person admits to a crime to a priest then the priest cannot be forced to testify.

That is just downright dopey. How can they expect us to swallow that?
Anyway, if Doug does know that Brendan killed Danny Houston out of love for Ste, and Brendan is not arrested and charged for whatever reason (perhaps because the evidence is lost or destroyed?), and Ste (and possibly Brendan) knows of Doug's treachery, I can't see Doug sticking around Hollyoaks too long, can you? So it's an ill wind, I suppose.

Well, like Sarah said, it might play out differently on screen, spoilers can be pretty wappy.
I really wish Doug wouldn't stick around, actually. I know he has his fanbase, so they'll keep him on, but he's a no no to me now.

Yep even if you were to admit to murder then the priest is under no legal obligation to report it to the police or testify.

This is my feeling now about Doug. Previously I wanted him to stay and have storylines of his own, because I like PJ and I think it would be a shame if he had to go when his ship sunk. But now, I can't stand the thought of him being around and knowing about the Danny murder. They've made me want him to go now. I won't be surprised if he gets on that plane and doesn't come back.

Yes, but whatever the details are, if Doug knows Brendan killed Danny Houston (and does whatever skulduggery he does in connection with this) and yet Brendan is still a free man, I'd say it would not be good for Doug's health to stick around Hollyoaks. Surely he's got to go?
