I miss Walker c&s, I miss him lots but Bralker no, unless you mean in a bromance way rather than a pretend to be up for a shag way.

They were pretty amazing together, even talking blueprints.

Dedicate to those who think that "mushy" Brendan has come out of nowhere ...

The sad thing is about people who think that is that I don't even think it's mushy, I just think it's quite sad "Mushy" suggests that what's he's feeling is quite nice, but he's actually tortured by these thoughts/longings for someone that he he wants more than anything to be with, but who he thinks deserves better.

BH

ETA: I liked Brendan's cross so much (I've got a bit thing for crosses despite not being religious) that I decided to buy a similar one (just one with a circle around it) to add to my collection, and I'm pretty sure I've bought it from the exact same people HO's must have got their one for Brendan from. It's exactly the same, came with the same chain, same shape, same size, same shaped hook that the chain goes through, same everything. Also it looks like the chain sits about the same place on me and it would on Brendan (his sits about mid-chest whilst mine sits a bit lower cause I'm a woman)....it's a bit odd...

I'm not obsessed honest, I just like crosses and his one was really cool

I'll admit the pretending to be gay thing was an issue.

But they were so hot.

I think the Heist was one of my favourite things, ever. OK, my favourite Brendan things, pretty much the same thing, almost as good as the Danny murder and the Nana scenes on Later. All that running and sweating and shouting and peeling potatoes.

Hey you stop it with your facts and remembering things that have happened in the past.

How are new viewers supposed to give their weird opinions about motivations if you insist on remembering storylines.

I've been watching Emmerdale for a couple of weeks and I have my opinions about it, I realised last night that Gaynor Fayes character is Declans sister and not his ex wife.

Not saying that if you haven't watched a soap from day 1 you have no right to an opinion but actually knowing what you are talking about is so helpful.

I miss Bralker, but I stopped liking Sexual!Bralker after they actually shagged.

That was not something I enjoyed watching at all, which I guess is what they intended.

But The Heist was Later were both very good, mainly because of Bralker.

Neil was part of some brilliant casting, him and Emmett worked so well together.

ETA: I've just realised that almost all of my favourite Brendan scenes and episode this year haven't directly involved Ste.

Oh

No your not on your own

I didnt mind that they had a shag i just had a problem with the licking but anyway i wished that walker could of been a friend to brendan instead of an undercover cop they could of been badasses together and brendan could of been with ste who would of turned a blind eye to whatever bralker was getting up to

Oh, I know what you mean, that was no joke. Really upsetting stuff.

They should have been mates. They could have double-dated, Brendan and Ste, Walker and ... Treeza. I dunno, or Cindy. Two alpha males, out with their squeezes.

Oh well. In another life.

I think that was the end of my Bralker shipping too Radio, the sex scene in thursdays Later was the antithesis of sexy.

Not sure if I've spelled that right but you know what I mean.

They obviously meant it that way and I've got to say I was massively impressed with what they showed.

It wasn't the actual sex scene, that was pretty tame.

It was intercutting it with Neil in the bathroom.

Very graphic for a soap.

Oh BH, don't you know that Brendan doesn't deserve to be loved/to love? He's a MURDERER AND A SCUMBAG!!!!1111

You're right, Ally I promise I'll forget everything that happened before Stug! (but I won't forget that Brendan's a scumbag )

Radio, I just realised the same! My favourite Stendan stuff this year is probably still the post-Lynsey hug, and the conversation that came after.

Not that there haven't been some other good moments. Some nice deli conversations, and the two fingers on heart thing, and rescuing Brendan from the dangerous bin, and "you'll always be my problem" - but nothing really epic. Yet.

Yeah in another life where Cam never took drugs and Walker wasn't a cop, they would of been great friends.

But then again, Brendan may not of changed with someone like Walker actually being his friend.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

I miss them. I watched their first episodes the other day, for the first time since we found out that Simon's a cop, and it does actually work even if they hadn't decided it at that point. And the sexual tension was amazing.

I haven't seen anyone say that it's mushy, but then I don't really follow any Twitters or Tumblrs of people who would think that. I agree with you anyway, it's anything but mushy. That amount of pain can't be mushy. Even the things like giving Myra an envelope full of cash wasn't sentimental. Brendan is casting around trying to do things that might help him feel better, or help atone in some way, or test him, or keep his mind occupied, whether it's polishing candlesticks or helping out someone who's on the brink of risking prison by doing something dodgy to get the money she needs to get by. The message he wrote, 'Call it divine intervention', wasn't sentimental either, it was sardonic and self-aware.

I agree, I think the inter-cutting with Neil in the bathroom practically scrubbing the skin from his bones really showed exactly how horrible it was for him.

Managing to make Brendan and Walker having sex not look sexy was a challenging task, but they definitely triumphed

Hi, does anyone have a link or a video of the time Brendan leant over the table and kissed Ste? Thanks in advance!

God, Later was brilliant, wasn't it? I was completely emotionally wrung out for days afterwards. I rarely get that strongly affected by TV, but that was ... unforgettable.

It must have been especially challenging because Emmett and Neil did have chemistry.

I can't remember the actual dates of episodes but there were at least two occassions when they looked at each other and grinned and you knew they were both on the same wavelength.

You are so right never has a tv show made me throw up left me shaking and after the body chopping scene left me unable to sleep that night it was bloody brilliant i honestly dont think any other later will measure up to it

I really loved that scene on the balcony, where they just looked at each other and smiled. It was so dangerous. You could see Walker had Brendan right where he wanted him, and it was a bit scary to see what he would do with it.

Yeah, there has been nothing overly epic this year has there? Little moments here and there that have made me shippy and have been quite significant, but nothing majorly heart stopping and completely epic.

I think maybe the hug, the almost kiss in Chez Chez stuff and the 'I've been taking bullets for you for months' have been their best.

If Ste is heavily involved in the Pa storyline, something memorable will come from that, but at the moment there isn't much. What a shame

I've heard a few people say that they don't like Brendan being in love and voicing his 'loving feelings' out loud. They pretty much want Brendan to keep his feelings to himself. I think now that he's being a little bit more open about it people see it as him wussing out, but really he had those feelings all along! He just showed it differently. The whole point of Later was him trying to open up and show people he loved that he cared! I think they just don't want his character to grow to be honest, but he has to if he's going to leave the show with a completed character arc!
