Anyway PCOS weight - yep, know that one too well. Doesn't help that only 4' 10.5". Also money really tight which means we have more carbs than I prefer cos cheaper.

Alternative to Bangor - anyone heard of Ugthorpe??? Village near Whitby, parents dragged us there for a few years, ok during day as went into Whitby but nothing to do at night, only 1 pub there and parents not really type to go into pub anyway so sister & I were bored out of our skulls!!”

If you cook from scratch try a website called kalyns kitchen, look it up on google. She does South Beach diet which is good for women with polycystic ovaries and her website is brilliant for recipes. Some of it is stuff you can only get in the States but root around its really good.

I see it now! It needed to be said though- you can't say someone knows what they are talking about- but only when they say stuff you agree with! It doesn't work like that

Bloomin' heck - I spend ages catching up with today's offerings then you all disappear to a shiny new thread without me

You'll probably be on page 20 by the time I manage to catch up again tomorrow!

Thanks, I'll look it up, love to cook (and eat, honest enough to admit PCOS only part of the problem)

I promise you will notice the difference even if you. just cut down on refined carbs. They are like crack cocaine to someone with PCOS because you turn carbs into sugar and then burn the really quickly and get a sugar crash. It's why if you eat bread or biscuits, you suddenly find yourself hurtling through the cupboards having an out of control binge. It's not you Hun, it's the carbs. So try to cut back on bread - have flatbread like wraps or pittas instead and don't have white rice or pasta, go for brown if you have to have it. and nothing with white flour it really helps.

This is why I'm not too scared of the Charleston. All Flavia has to do is tell him to do a p1ss take one- and all will be well!
For someone who keeps his legs stiff most of the time, he's very bendy limbed!

....and we get criticised 'out there'!

On this thread, we have jokes, harmless ribbing, perving, high quality information about a wide variety of subjects, a shrine, online shopping, links to images, a bit of critique about a TV dancing programme (I forget which!)....

.....oh yes, and skip loads of sarcasm!

What more could you want?

May I suggest a cage? I've got a Morton sized one for my kitchen - it's ready for when I trap him!

How many thread parts do you reckon on for the whole series? I'm thinking maybe 9?....we've picked up a few more DOTs since last year.

Thanks Mum! We all run off and you do the right thing. You sound like me on holiday - we never leave a holiday cottage without me doing a full tidy and vacuum!

Can I just throw a question into the mix.... is there a lower age limit for DS? Seems some out there may have breached it, no matter how low it is.

I wonder if its this 'anyone can be anything they like' sort of faux bolstering of youngsters nowadays. You know the sort of thing - everyone at school sports day gets a medal because its the taking part, parents are encouraged to fill their kids heads with all sorts of vainglorious waffle in the misguided idea that all a child needs is confidence in its abilities and that will get it through life.... This sort of thing is not reflected on Strictly - bar a few contestants who seem to think that they're doing the steps and therefore doing well *cough* Craig *cough*, but it does seem to be reflected on the boards in that a little knowledge seems to give you the right to be rude and insolent and at times unbelievably simple to other forum members who are far more into the debate than scoring points ...

*oops... slides soapbox back under sofa and goes in search of HRT patch*

A quarter of the thread's entire history has been this year. Jesus we can talk crap.

Are we even halfway there yet? I think we are but we'll be inundated when the fan wars start, so 9 might be about right.

I really don't like brown pasta, rice not too bad. I bought some wholemeal self raising flour a while back, and was impressed by the baking I produced. We have a bread maker and mainly use it to make granery, but sometimes I just crave a crusty French stick with lashings of butter
