I think battle lines are drawn already.

As far as I can see it, Karen Hardy talks rubbish until she likes your fave pairing, then she is all knowing.
Even Sofa fell into that trap!

Like I said, crack cocaine You crave the things that your body burns too quickly. For me, it's crisps. I have a bag of crisps and I can suddenly find myself hoovering packs of biscuits.

I wonder if its this 'anyone can be anything they like' sort of faux bolstering of youngsters nowadays. You know the sort of thing - everyone at school sports day gets a medal because its the taking part, parents are encouraged to fill their kids heads with all sorts of vainglorious waffle in the misguided idea that all a child needs is confidence in its abilities and that will get it through life.... This sort of thing is not reflected on Strictly - bar a few contestants who seem to think that they're doing the steps and therefore doing well *cough* Craig *cough*, but it does seem to be reflected on the boards in that a little knowledge seems to give you the right to be rude and insolent and at times unbelievably simple to other forum members who are far more into the debate than scoring points ...

*oops... slides soapbox back under sofa and goes in search of HRT patch* ”

I think the lower age limit is about 6 out there!

IMO, you can find good in most people, and all people have strengths. However, when you are marking against a specific criteria, the realists face facts that not everyone can be a winner. Therefore, I think that if you can't face criticism in a dance competition for your ability (or lack of) to dance, don't enter the competition. If you deside to enter, expect that judges may (and should) give you criticism.

Well, of course she did, she talked utter b*ll*cks until it came to Louis where she explained why Craig is an utter numpty.

To be fair though Craig does often get it wrong regarding technique, you can tell when he does because Len starts ranting.

Len aged with Kan about Louis therefore she is right, Len disagreed with her about Nicky, therefore she is critiquing with her ovaries. Simples.

Forgot to say - had bus rise from hell on way home. Takes ages anyway but wax stuck in traffic then I saw a huge spider crawling up my arm, am petrified of em, managed to beat it off with my phone while trying not to scream. Then, as heart still pounding from that shock, some Los life threw a rock at window, it shattered but mostly held in place, thankfully no one hurt but bus had to stop, next ins took me out of they way, so then had to get another bus and have a longer walk than normal, to get home 40 mind later than usual - I really miss having a car.

We don't talk crap! We talk in an intellectually threatening way which is either misunderstood, taken as the opinion of a bunch of menopausal women or is too high brow for the fluffies!

We obviously rant on , page after page, thread after thread, cos we are just jellus hatahs, innit!

I made the mistake of posting on both the SCD forum and Masterchef thread before going to bed last night.

As I drifted off to sleep, musing that I will never order fish with an apple and vanilla sauce, my brain got confused and I dreamt about Monica pulling horrified faces at Michael's jive and Bruno going ballistc over a chocolate fondant pudding

Way-hey welcome back! We've kept your Anton thread going - like a beacon to welcome you back!

Did you get the instructions for the holiday home? Did you put the bin out, and did you get the online shopping order we sent?

So glad to see you back!

Uncle Ben's brown rice is brilliant! boils in the bag in 10 minutes and isn't anywhere near as stodgy as the 1980's health food store stuff that I remember.

I put it on a timer last time I was there - the place is used so frequently nowadays!

The hot water wasn't on, but the emersion heater switch is in the inner hall - in case you ever need it!

Totally agree with that.

You'll have to put me on mute at the moment if I leap on the soapbox again. I'm unappreciating my son's teacher who has suggested that as he likes football he apply to the local professional football club for his work experience. (They're only 90 mins on a train, no trouble there then even if he was to get in which is very unlikely because a) he likes football but he's totally rubbish at it and can't even get into the B team subs bench most weekends, and b) he'd already had a really good idea about applying to a local airline (he wants to join the RAF). Having this darn 'you can be what you want to be if you work hard enough at it' carrot waved in front of him has really messed with his head.

Grrrrrrrrr
