I don't agree that she looks late 40's. I think it's because she started out so young that the way we perceive her to look now is not what she would like in reality. I think she looks her age.

I don't think that's true. By that logic, you should feel the same about your parents and everyone else you've known for a substantial amount of years.

Look at artists like Kylie and Mariah Carey... They still look very good for their age, despite being known to us before they even hit 20. Not everyone ages well, it's not Britney's fault. It's a combination of lifestyle and genes.

Perhaps we should be judging people on their character and accomplishments rather than what creams/surgery they happen to be able to afford to buy.

I think sometimes, celebs are damned if they do - and damned if they don't. Britney still looks unwell to me - generally, I mean - there's a coldness behind the eyes. She's been through a helluva lot at a young age. At least she hasn't had stacks of surgery.

Its probably not the most flattering of photos, and she does have way too much makeup on, but we all get older, sadly. Since I hit my forties piled on the weight and lines are appearing and I have always been size 10, but hey we are who we are I guess!

Oh calm down, it's not like I'm laughing incessantly at her and her bad looks, I was just making an observation. If anything it's because I think she looks ill. I think she looks unwell whenever I watch US X Factor or see her in press photos, she looks tired and worn. And Britney, a well known performer, will always be judged partly on her appearance. She's a superstar, it's just the natural order of things.

I think Kylie looks really strange. She's clearly had loads of work done. If her eyebrow gets any higher she'll be tying it up with her hair scrunchie.

Britney I agree doesn't look great in that pic but she's far more natural.

On X Factor she looks her age - early 30s I think, I think her styling ages her - too blonde and plastered with make up that looks a bit aging.
But I think its a bit harsh to judge her appearance - shes had mental health problems and for some people severe mental illness can take a toll on their appearance, especially if you havent been looking after yourself properly for a long time - aspects like stress, lack of sleep etc can have an impact on well-being both mentally and physically.

Britney is quite clearly not back to full health and I'd question the morals of Simon and co who thought it was a good idea to wheel her out a star turn on X Factor USA.

I agree that Britney's not quite right still. I don't think that makes her look a certain age or anything, I think she just looks like she's had a hard time and I don't think she's really recovered. She doesn't seem quite all there when she's talking. On the clips I've seen from X Factor US she tends to just say something positive and bland and she looks a bit rabbit-in-the-headlights or as if she's just not sure what to say but has a stock response.

In terms of people who look older... to be honest, I think it's hard to pinpoint celebs. Most of them have had work done, and/or have people making them look beautiful and keeping them fit etc. Most of them look younger.

She's a multi-millionaire, she can afford a couple of nannies.

Problem is, I don't think she is normal anymore, she's dead in the eyes. Yes, she needs rest, lots of it.
