Well then, lets hope it can keep fake Steve off the topspot, alongside Band Aid 20.
Yeah and it is a good version, I agree. |

I agree. It's great to see and hear Cat Stevens again. I saw the video a couple of weeks ago and at first it looked like it was Ronan on his own with Cat Stevens overdubbed. I was surprised and delighted when he appeared at the end. I was sat with a friend of mine, who just turned to me and said: 'So THAT'S how it should be sung'.
It's interesting. Ronan puts everything into it, yet Yusaf is effortless and puts him to shame. |

I keep having to turn the radio over when ole Ronan starts singing but the bit with Yousef singing is very moving. Think I'll look on Amazon for his best of.

Get any Cat Stevens CD / album and you will not be dissapointed. All are jam packed with top notch songs and beautiful performances. Don't miss out by just getting "Best Of"s etc.

Its strange how one voice can work well, yet another doesnt.
Yusafs vocals are spine tingling, Ronans, not a hint of a tingle. I remember that song from when it was first released in late 1970. I had just left home after turning 18, and it was very poignant as I'd had a huge argument with my dad. The song helped me to make up with my dad at the time. |

I heard Ronan saying last week that all the proceeds from the single will be going to Band Aid
Another very good reason for buying it I would have thought
