Question for S3 Owners
When you connect the phone to your PC to transfer stuff across, how fast is it ?
In the past few days, since i've got mine, when i've connected it to the PC, it's taken an absolute age to do anything. The phone itself runs perfectly fine, so it kind of makes me wonder if it's my USB ports .. I understand you can't mount it as an external USB drive, but it's just driving me up the wall. I copied about 100mb of data across to the phone earlier on and it took 20 minutes ! I've got a class 10 64GB Micro SD card plugged in and that also seems to work fine .. *edit Think i'll have to look at my USB ports as i'm copying some stuff now and it's nipping along fairly well after plugging it in to another one .. hmmmm |

Mine appears on the desktop as an external USB drive. Then I just drag and drop. Copied over a few GB in a couple of minutes...
Youre probably using a USB1 port are you? |
