How to send a email/text from Hotmail to a Mobile?

Just wondering if anyone knew how I can send a text message or an email to someones text messages on their mobile phone, the other persons networks are Vodaphone and Tmobile.

You could try sending an email to number@t-mobile.uk.net or number@vodafone.net. I don't know if those email to sms things still work, I'd forgotten all about that. A couple of seconds search online suggests that's the format you need to send it to for T-mobile and Vodafone.

I've no idea if these still work though, they may have been discontinued. There are some websites where you can send a certain amount of free texts a day if that helps.

Thanks tried that no no avail. Any idea what the freewebsites are that let you send free text messages?

When I google 'send free text messages' this one is the 1st result. http://www.cbfsms.com/ but a bunch of others came up too.

I've seen / used that before I think. It will have a note on the bottom to say it came from a free text message site FYI.
