FOAF pure and simple.

Quote:
“Last night ITV bosses revealed that Steve won the show with a landslide 5.4million votes compared to 3.1million for opera quartet G4.”

ITV bosses official they would not put that if there was a chance it was wrong.

Penny - please stop trying to tarnish the Gloss. Steve has had some very bad press - this is the ONLY good news in recent days please let us be happy with it.

Does it really matter who we choose to believe? Steve won. Well done to him!Now the hard work really begins. It will be record sales that matter - as Michelle, One True Voice, David Sneddon and countless others have found out to their cost.

Pennycandle time to stop being bitter and admit the best man won, by a massive landslide.

I have seen your voting outcome comments and tend not to believe those word of mouth comments thank you penny. But I can fully understand that as you are a G4 fan, you would be more than willing to believe those word of mouth ones, so I can understand that.”

But Susann, you are contradicting yourself.........saying you do not believe word of mouth comments, but to state "a TV insider" without quoting who he was, is also word of mouth. The voting figures need to be made public to settle this once and for all. What was interesting directly after the Final and before the results came in.........Steve`s odds dropped dramatically to 4/1 - he was not expected to win, based on performance on the night. So in the meantime we will agree to disagree. (Incidentally, please show me any post of mine where I said Steve looked like Fred West....

No, the one with the most votes won. Not the same as the best!

......absolutely not - couldn`t he happier. Our boys look certain to land a major contract (possibly worth more than £1million.......they are not getting crucified in the press at the moment as the winner is. It just seems remarkable everyone seems to believe the "tv insider" as if it were gospel. I was merely stating what was said on Radio 5 Live on Monday afternoon.

That would depend on who you were supporting obvioulsy more people supported Steve and considered him the best man, and quite rightly so

No TV insider. ITV Bosses.

Oh yeah a £1mil contract for a solo, is a lot better than £1.5mil split 4 ways.

Groups contracts are always bigger, its the way of the world.

Currently, there is an official statement about the voting. There is no official statement about the Contract. End of.

Not of course to say that G4 won't get a contract eventualy.

It is the nature of the press to crucify people's good fortune. You can bet yer bottom dollar that if "your" precious bloomin' boys had won they would be getting the same treatment for summat or other. It doesnt take away from the fact that Steve won, by a much larger margin than anyone thought. Get over it. Move on. Look forward to the so called "losers" in this competition releasing some material for you to buy instead of spending time trying to take the shine off Steve's win. If, in fact, you are even still interested in them by the time the alleged three month no releases clause thingy is up.......

Penny, Can't you just be happy for Steve instead of not wanting to believe he could have been more popular than G4 after all. Maybe these G4 pics will help you feel better.
