OK, I chose the wrong word but she is being sweet to those who are intent on dampening the spirit of this thread. Btw, I'm a Steve fan.

Actually as a fan of G4 I watched Saturday's final expecting Steve to win-partly because of his own fanbase and also because the abusive comments made by Louis days before would make viewers want to punish him.
I don't know though-I remember Kate clearly saying voting was neck and neck on Saturday strange.I'm sure she said it.
Maybe something is not quite right but does it matter both received millions of votes-both will do well.The x-factor final is history now-it's now all about the future for Steve and G4.Best of luck to them.

Says she who's been believing rumour after rumour about G4 contracts... from the Sun of all places. Even when G4 themselves have said they don't have a contract yet.
G4 are great. That doesn't mean Steve can't be successful.
PS - I'm not defending either side.

I wondered the same thing when some people were anxious to point out that Steve only won by 200,000 votes.
I agree with you in wishing them both luck as G4 are obviously popular to be in the finals.
