What's your favourite game series
Mine is Mario. The Italian plumber has never let me down.
Games that I have enjoyed from the series. Then it was Mass Effect. Now, after ME3, it's Final Fantasy again. |

I want to say GTA, the first 2 games were fun and then 3 and the subsequent era games are all up there with the best games of all time. Let down a bit by IV but V is looking good.
I think the real answer would be Ratchet & Clank though. Insanely fun games. |

GTA series
Metal Gear Solid series Streets of Rage series (that includes Streets of Rage Remake - google it  )And Sonic. 1-3. Decidedly old school for me.  ....well, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 might also make the cut.

My favourite 3 franchises:
Super Mario Bros (all platform games both 2D and 3D....also enjoy the spin offs too like Mario & Luigi, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Paper Mario, Mario RPG, Dr Mario etc) Legend Of Zelda (as good as it gets really) Mario Kart (I see this as a separate series to 'Walking Mario' as my 4 year old cousin calls the platform games, due to the success of the 'Kart' series) Basically it is all about Mario and Zelda. (Thank you Shigeru Miyamoto )(Donkey Kong, Starfox, F-Zero, Wario Ware, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Metroid, Contra and Punch Out are other series I enjoy immensely but not to the same level as I do with Mario and Zelda plus a special mention to all 'Rare' N64 games) |
