Hi, my first post after lurking for a while, I have just cancelled Sky so was looking for a Freeview/Freesat option, just picked up a YouView Humax box for £175 at Comet in their clearance. It was marked up at £249 but scanned at £279, they kindly honoured the lower price and then took 30% off.

The 30% off relates to all their Freesat/freeview boxes.

Oops first post and I've put it in the wrong section , can a mod move it to freeview please

If you've cancelled Sky surely you now have Freesatfromsky with FTV card (formerly Sky subscription card). This will get you more channels than Freesat will it not?

The Humax setup will offer far more functions and channels than a sky box with no sky subscription.

I Was in Comet today and also saw the Humax for £175
Bargain.

Dont forget to register it with Humax for the warranty. Hopefully you wont need to use it. But better safe than sorry.
