And a good evening to one and all.

This week at the theme night ad-break 80's disco, the theme is PLACES
This lead to many great requests from the usual suspects, namely mrbernay, Oldnjaded, Jewels501 and Osakasun. They all have excellent taste but some of them need to realise that the 70's are over, man. This is the 80's, dude! Get with the programme.....

We could be winding our way down to Baker Street, looking at youngsters in that there America, enjoying the sound of the Windy City, failing to swim in Berlin, being all big in Japan (I'm sure I saw a film called something similar once...), watching some flighty lass as she dances on the sand, discussing theology and the nature of the afterlife with a Go Go, once more talking about how a certain song lost out to Joe Dolce, wondering what the hell 'Rises like Olympus above the Serengeti' is supposed to mean, or worrying about how this town (ah-ah) is coming like a ghost town.

Sadly, none of them were this week's choices. I nearly went with 'Drowning In Berlin' cos I remember quite liking it, but upon watching a TOTP performance I changed my mind.

If you haven't I recommend going on to the digitalspy interview with Charlotte Bellamy and John Middleton and answering the poll - Are Maurel a good couple - yes or no? We all need to vote !!!!!!!
