I can't help it but I do like the fact I get all the things I order or a decent replacement when I order online and I like the store only items too and the price. BUT. Tesco are not the most honest of supermarkets.

They have now limited early Christmas delivery slots to those who have signed up to their delivery saver subscription. This is basically paying delivery costs up front but having to spend a minimum of £40 every week to qualify. I'm a single person on benefit so frankly it's not plausible to me. This is all a ploy I reckon to claw back loss of profits.

Frustrating for me. But I'm not going to fall for it. I'll go to the local store and get a cab back if I don't get a delivery slot at Christmas time. Or just gradually stock up reserves for Christmas.

Just if anyone is with Tesco and wants to make sure you get a slot for Christmas, beware.

Whatever else it may be I do not understand why you think it is dishonest?

The delivery saver is great value and most people will spend enough to qualify.

tesco are rubbish - always late in their delivery and stuff missing, one driver wanted me to go down and pick up the shopping rather then come up in the lift with it and left without delivering

I use other on line shopping places now

I know how you feel we shop every other week so never get the £5 savings they often do either. But it's not dishonest just nuisance to us.
