Saving picture attachments from email on HTC Sensation

As the thread title suggests - how do I do this?

I used to be able to save pictures, in fact,. I'm sure they automatically downloaded to the picture folder when you viewed attachments.

Since the update to Android version 4.0.3, I can not seem to be able to save attachments from emails. I'm sure it may be really obvious, but it's just not happening for me, no matter what I try to do.

Any help?
