Steve won by 2.5 million votes. These are official figures given by itv in a press release.

Sorry, I agree about the contract thing, but this is official report not some speculation!

I think you'll find it's denial they are in. Deep down they know it's the truth as well.

As is Louis Walsh's word - of course G4 have a 1.5 million pound contract, much better than Steve's.

Deepdown we'll never know who won how many votes........This is all really just speculation as per usual. Even if Digital Spy reported it, It still would not prove it....as DS are little like the tabloids some stories are true, others are just rumours that turn out untrue.

Sorry but I can't agree-if Steve was such a runaway winner then the comments of Louis that week played a part-don't you think.G4 paid a price..

What I am starting to feel pretty strongly about is the comments of Kate during the final.I wish I had a recording of the final for confirmation but surely noone will argue that Kate left the viewers in no doubt that the voting was close
(I'm pretty sure she used the words Neck and Neck at one point)

So
1-Either Kate was telling lies to encourage more votes from viewers-if this is the case shame on ITV.
2-The press release is lies-if this is the case shame on whoever leaked this info as they have told total lies.

I know I said in another thread it does not matter and the final is history..but were lies are concerned I think it does matter.

Is it just me, or is it certain G4 fans on this forum that are putting you off them? I know I haven't been posting long, but I have been reading this forum since XF started and at the beginning I quite liked G4 - I thought they were something different. However, since Steve's resounding victory on Saturday nite, the attitude and comments of some of G4's fans (not all of them, before I get lynched) gets my back up and makes me, well, want them to fail.......... Does that make me a horrible person??

G4 aren't losers, they didn't win the X Factor, but the public liked them enough for them to get through every round and make the final.

I agree that it's sad some G4 fans want to attack Steve for his win. But I'm afraid it's just as sad that some Steve fans take such an obvious delight in gloating and putting G4 down.

I am pleased someone agrees with me, sorry but I posted the same on another thread, it is not an argument who did win or lose now, that is the past. The question is where we told pre lies to to line Simon Cowell's pocket via his TV production company SICO and ITV, o fthat is the case it is completely wrong, and we are being made to look like idiots.

Some people vote over and over again if good faith, but it is becoming a farce, we all watched G4 and Steve sit in the Dressing Rooms and be told how tight it was, I am not blaming Kate, she is just doing what she is told by Simon Cowell and SICO TV.

I have had an initial response from ITV saying the Talkback Press Office in London who released the press release are looking into what I state and will reply to me??

What Spin will they give us - like Michelle, Garreth mr Cowell will spit out Steve once he has made his intial money, SC is not interested in any artist or person except himself.

It will be the best thing to happen to G4 if they have nothing to do with Simon and may have been better for Steve!
