As my quote above says, what kate says is irrelevant if you are sensible, smart and intelligent and just vote once.

25,000 lines, yes, theoretically, things could change very quickly, but we got 8 million votes in, what, nearly 3 hours? And you're saying a 1 or 2 million lead could be overturned very quickly? All G4 fans would have to go mental on the phones all at once.

You'd also have to question how many viewers actually do vote, with all the multiple voting going on, with some people voting 20 times or whatever, I wouldn't be surprised if it's less than 2 million viewers voting, total. That would also limit how fast things could change.

Well yes, X Factor is all about money, but the money should be made with at least an attempt at honesty.

People aren't though. People shouldn't send £20,000 cheques to guys they don't know in Nigeria, in the hope of getting £2m back, either, but they do. But should the guys in Nigeria be let off because of that?

People who do that are greedy and stupid.

As I have explained countless times, with 25,000 lines it takes just 4 minutes to receive 2 million votes. So things can change very quickly.

If people are stupid enough to pick up the phone and multiple vote, well as Judge Judy says: they cannot be compensated for stupidity.

Well yes, they are greedy and stupid, but they are still the victims of con artists.

And as I say, theoretically, yes, things could change very quickly, but we all know, unless Sharon had took to Steve with a machete it's never gonna change that quickly. It's like saying "Aliens could land at Buckingham Palace tomorrow", it could happen, but is highly unlikely to happen.

Plenty governance for the 'stupid enough':

protection from loan sharks; trading standards; smoking bans; drink driving laws; eating 10 burgers a day might make your kids fat guidelines .....

As I said before I would prefer them to say there is a massive lead for one of the acts making us think OMG what one ??

But surely people know that she is going to say its close even if its not
she says it every week now

Not that crap again, Gareth has said time and time again that Will always beats me, I always believed he recognised that Simon went too far in his support for him, and lets face it he has been careful to avoid that scenario again, of the winner hating him. Does anyone even Simon care what happens now, his money is made

I think Cowell has learnt his lesson with Gareth, I dont like the man but at least he admits when he makes mistakes . So I dont think he'll make another mistake with Steve. Steve's recorded voice is better than I was expecting, its more distinctive, sexy and memorable.

......do you really think so?.........I think the reverse actually. G4 have youth on their side.......it`s quite possible they may go back to their roots (ie opera) and have a very successful career in that genre with perhaps the odd cross-over pop hit. There are so many other singers in Steve`s genre, more successful and established artists that I think after his first hit and album he may well struggle unless he can build up a substantial, loyal fanbase. (From one of the "brainwashed" G4`ers)

I do get your sense of humour Moneybags, so I realise that most of what you say is meant in jest and other times to say what you feel. That is what this forum is for, to debate about X Factor, it's virtues and downfalls..... not be a love-in for the acts ( well maybe the lovely Steve him being the exception )

I actually love your posts because of at times, when not jesting, your outspokeness on the acts, and that goes for Bailey's posts as well Some are fearful of doing this because they fear the backlash from some fans, but not you
