Soap families with the most amount deaths in them?
what are some soap families with the most amount deaths to family members?
Eastenders has the Brannings pretty high up 5 (Renee, Bradley, Billie, Tommy and soon to be Derek) Alongside that what are some major families that have had the least amount death in them. |

The Kings in Emmerdale have 5 deaths (Max, Tom, Rosemary, Matthew and Carl).
Also Family Affairs killed the entire Hart family. |

The Barlow Family have had a lot of deaths:
Ida Barlow - Ken's mother (1961) David Barlow - Ken's brother (1970) Darren Barlow - Ken's nephew (1970) Valerie Barlow - Ken's first wife (1971) Frank Barlow - Ken's father (around 1971 to 1975) Janet Barlow - Ken's second wife (1977) Susan Barlow - Ken's daughter (2001) Lucy Barlow - Peter's wife (2008) And perhaps Ken's extended family, like Mike Baldwin and Blanche Hunt. And maybe Albert Tatlock. |

In ED, the Kings don't have the most amount of deaths, however the majority of the family has died, so I'd say them on the basis of highest proportion of family members killed off.

Tom Cunningham's lost a few family members in HO
His Dad, his Mum, his half-brothers Max and Lewis, his half-sister Dawn, his niece Grace and his half-sister-in-law Steph. And could he be about to loose another half-sister in Cindy? |

Donald Fishers kids, nephew and grandchild in Home and Away: Alan, Bobby, Byron, David and a miscarriage. Plus Seb was paralysed. Again high proportion, only 1 out of 5 children still alive at 25.
I'd also say the Beales in EE. |

Maybe the Branning's in EE?
Jack lost a son - James. Max lost a son - Bradley. Carol lost a son - Billie. Their mother passed away. And Derek is about to be dead soon, too. (5) ? |

Beales/Fowlers: Lou, Pauline, Arthur, Pete, Kathy, Mark, Cindy, Laura, Joe
Also it's worth noting that for two of the biggest families The Mitchells and The Slaters have been lucky when it comes to deaths. The only Mitchells I can think of who've died are Jamie, Danielle and Archie. The Slater's only death is Lynne's baby Viv and Harry |

I think Ian Beale's probably lost the most family: mum Kathy, dad Pete, auntie Pauline, uncle Arthur, gran Lou, cousin Mark, wives Cindy and Laura and that's all in the last 20 years. He's got no family left apart from his kids and he's only in his early 40s.

The Robinsons in Neighbours have had a lot of casualties over the years although their family tree is quite extended. Paul Robinson seems to have been the most affected losing his first wife, a son, his father Jim, grandmother Helen and both of his half sisters among others from the extended family. |

Poor Annie Sugden has outlived two husbands (perhaps three, Amos' fate is unknown), all three of her children plus three of her six grandchildren. Of extended family, she's also lost two daughters-in-law and two step-grandchildren.

I agree that he's had the most losses. In addition to his kids he still has two half brothers, David and Ben, and two neices, Bianca and Lexi and two cousins Michelle and Martin. Then there's Bianca's children. |
