Just downloaded Smartglass on my Xperia T but it won't connect to the Xbox.

Smartglass connects to my old xbox account but not the one I now have, so the wrong gametag is showing on smartglass, how do I change it to the one I use now?

It only asks for email and password not game tag.

I'm using the correct email and password bit it still goes to old tag.

Strangely, I get emails/news from xbox live on both the old game tag and new, when I say new it's at least 8 months old.


The only thing I can think of is the old tag could be the one I signed up to over the internet about to years ago..

So your Microsoft Live ID is still associated with the "old" tag? I guess you'll need to contact MS, then.

Does the 360 use the "new" Tag even with the same email & password?

Yes the 360 uses the new tag email and password.

Looking on Xbox live site via laptop, now it says "free member" on the old account but won't log on to the new.
