Youview cost
Hi guys,
can anyone tell me if you have to pay any monthly fees for Youview if you already subscribe to BT Broadband and Vision. Thanks.

why do you have to pay an ACTIVATION? when you already have the BTBB, and the other part of the box is freeview?

I received a letter the other day saying that as I'm a BTBB customer I can get the new Humax YouView box for as little as £5 a month. On the bottom of the letter it said there would be a £6.95 cost to cover the postage which is fare enough, but also a £49 activation fee ![]()

Yes - either £5 or £12.50 depending on if you take Essential or Unlimited.

Because you have purchased the box yourself and not through BT. A percentage of the £12.50 goes towards the cost of the box. So the package is cheaper if you own the box.
