She's been sounding really great lately. Her belting has definitely improved. She also sounded amazing on her version of Live and Let Die that got played on X Factor USA. Apparently On My Own will be televised (maybe even a live performance) during CiN. Go Alex.

Excellent performance, I'd never have known it was her.
Also nice to see Danielle Hope playing the role of Eponine in the show. For anyone who doesn't know, she won the role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz in the Andrew Lloyd Webb TV search for a Dorothy. I saw her in it, she was brilliant. |

I've been a fan of Les Mis for about half of my life now and have seen the show several times and own lots of different recordings. I have to say, Alex took my breath away. She totally "got" the song, in terms of acting it as well as singing it. I love her voice here...the slight rasp is perfect, as I can't stand Eponine actresses who sing too prettily.
OMO has always been my favourite song from LM, and Eponine my favourite character. Alex should consider taking on the role full time if she's ever offered it. She'd nail it. |

Nice people like it, her tone suits it so well, for me she's the most versatile vocalist from the XF. Now DONATE to CIN!

Although I like Alex, I was fearing the worst as OMO is a song so many people mess up when they tackle it. But like I say, she nailed it. Well done that lady!

She was fantastic in her duet with Russel Watson at the Festival of Rememberence on BBC1 on Saturday evening.
