I have to say I've really missed Claudia. Didn't realise quite how much until tonight: I thought she and Tess did a really good job. And I say that as someone who doesn't mind Bruce as much as some seem to.

Fab show tonight, everyone upped their game. Great dresses, great music. Vincent's tango choreography was fantastic as usual. Dani looked exactly right for a young girl out Tango dancing - an older woman would wear a different dress to that, but Dani's look was spot on. Also thought Nicky and Victoria did much better tonight.

Craig's comment about Louis' foot was correct, his toes should've been pointed. That said I think he marked him rather low, especially when you consider what he gave others who danced less well. The judges were surprisingly generous with their comments and scores for Michael. Though it was better than his previous Latin dances it was still woeful IMO. I thought Nicky showed much improvement tonight, Fern was better too and Lisa's Foxtrot was her best ballroom. Nice VW from Kimberley and Pasha. While Victoria's footwork was better, she's still too weak in the body so just didn't look right. I was soooo annoyed at Len and Bruno talking over Craig. I do love Bruno's passion for dance though and although I know it annoys some people that he can't stay seated, I love it when he gets up to emphasise a point.

Lisa and Robin make the show for me, but then I can't understand all the fuss about Dani, she leaves me cold.

It would be a travesty if she did, Lisa always gives 100%.

There is a lot of GENUINE love from the general public for Lisa, she has yet to be in the bottom two.

There are many of us who would love to see Lisa in the final. You may not like her, but she is popular with the general public.

A great show tonight! There were no gimmicks or themes to hide behind just some good old fashion ballroom and latin dance routines.

It was clear to see that the competetion has stepped up a gear, and every single celebrity dancer has improved somewhat. Clearly all the celebrities right now are taking the competition very seriously and are actually putting in alot of effort which is fantastic to see. There are no so- called 'joke acts' in the competetion this year, even celebs such as Lisa Riley and Richard Arnold are giving it their all.

Of course Sir Bruce Forsyth was missed tonight but can I just say that Claudia Winkleman was an absolute delight.... her unique sense of humour and quirky personality made me laugh out loud several times, and never have I enjoyed the phone numbers being read out as much as I did tonight. Also she has a real warmth about her which translates on-screen very well and her camarederie with the celebrities and the professionals comes across very natural and easy.... also it seemed they were enjoying having her around as well.

Looking ahead at the competition I think the front runners so far are: Denise & James, Louis & Flavia, Kimberley & Pasha. However I do think the dark horses are Dani & Vincent, Lisa & Robin.... both couples could very well make it to the final if they continue they way they're going.

Roll on Sunday night's Results show when 10 couples will become 9 for Wembley Week

Best show of the series so far.

A bit prop heavy but most of the costumes were better, the show was presented better by Claudia and Tess, the music choices were better and the VTs weren't as bad as usual.

Excellent choreography from James and great dancing from Denise.
Good choreography from Erin, but Richard was lacking in swivels, energy etc.
Very nice Waltz from Louis and Flavia - his best dancing.
A lively Salsa from Fern - bit light on content again but her best dance.
Very good choreography from Karen and Nicky is starting to look like a ballroom dancer - big improvement.
Best choreography of the night from Vincent and easily her best dance from Dani in delivering a difficult routine - a deserved second place on the leaderboard.
Very romantic emotive VW from Pasha and a good performance by Kimberley.
Clever routine from Brendan and Victoria was light on her feet and although there were errors, much more confident and 'performed' better.
Lots of content in Natalie's Salsa and despite the mistakes still a big improvement in latin from Michael.
A fun Foxtrot and I guess playing to Lisa's strength.

They improved the colour of Dani's dress, but a proper Tango dress would have helped an excellent performance. She does need to 'dance' the acting bits - they did lack gracefulness.

Michael danced better than I expected so there is some hope even in latin.

Fern sold her routine very well and looked good doing it.

Nicky was the other one who performed better than I expected - which is good to see and I thought Karen's choreography was very well chosen to suit Nicky.

Strictly Come Dancing Fashion Police: Week 6 by Keira Middleton

Week 6 and the competition to stay is hotting-up for the celebrities. They are all getting rather good and even Craig is having problems finding fault although his score of 6 for Louis Smith and Flavia Cacace dancing a near perfect waltz was a bit ridiculous. It was clearly worthy of more. He likes the limelight.

Best Dress: Victoria Pendleton. Score 9.
Victoria was stunning dancing the quickstep in her beautiful peachy dress draped with black netting with diamante across the bodice. Loved her hair which looked a bit 1930s style. She’s beginning to shine in every way and every week we see an improvement.

Hottest Couple: Denise Van Outen and James Jordan. Score 9.
Denise’s outfit for the paso doble was a stunning red dress and she and James sizzled. Her long dress with split skirt and high net top suited the drama of the dance perfectly. We can’t see how she can lose the competition this year although Louis Smith is hot on her beautiful heels.

Blooper of the week: Fern Britton. Score 5.
Her costume was beautiful but not for her. She has a great figure and has lost weight but the fat remaining had to go somewhere and it bulged rather disconcertingly up under her arms with a life of its own in a very unflattering fashion. Pity she has gone out of the competition.

Best Dance of the Week: Dani Harmer and Vincent Simone. Score 9.
These two are made for each other and their tango was fabulous. Dani looked very cheeky in her two piece which suited her age and personality perfectly.

Surprise of the week was Kimberley Walsh and Pasha Kovalev ending up in the dance-off. We were all stunned and realise that the judges scores mean nothing! That’s the excitement of SCD! Wembley here we go……

PS Loved Darcey Bussell’s green dress which suited her perfectly. We have all fallen for this lovely willowy creature who is kind and positive in all her criticism and gives the celebrities good advice to take away and work with. A breath of creative fresh air.
