Yes looks scripted to cause anger and phone calls and newspaper reports of outraged SCD fans.

For all that he's still third on the leaderboard and the order looks about right to me (with some quibbles -- loved Dani's tango more than Denise's paso. Kimberley is my girl so I'm not really impartial to judge but I loved the whole emotional feeling of her VW more than the paso too, but hey...)

So after a lot of arguing and bad grace between the three male judges, there's no harm done. I thought all three were shabby and rude and came off badly in that spat. Louis did well to hold his composure.

I was expecting this dance to be one that finally makes me 'get' Louis, sadly it didn't, I thought his tango was better. I'll watch it again later, as I didn't really like any of them tonight despite people saying how everybody stepped it up so it may just be me.”

We said that about Austin Healey, I'm sure and look what happened. That's what I don't like, the viewers' lack of control, especially with the dance off.

It was a shame... If he didn't like it fair enough but they didn't deserve to have to listen to him rip their dance apart like that.

This was Flavias backstage comment from @BBCStrictly

For someone as placid as Flavia to make a comment like that I think it must have hurt a little

Wow, just no need.

I like this year as those who didn't try so hard have been the first to go (with perhaps the exception of Johnny - we never got to find out how determined and hard working he was). I don't think there is a contestant left who isn't giving it 100% and tonight's show exemplified how well all the contestants have improved.

Fourth wasn't he?

It is quite simple, Craig is the performance judge.

He doesn't see much performance in Louis' routines and plenty in Lisa's hence the scores.

In terms of positioning on the leaderboard his name was fourth, but because there was a joint second place scoring of 34 points, he's technically third in the amount of judges points he received

I think Michael is trying harder than anyone imo, and the Denise comment is just unnecessary.

I know people think that Denise is this year's Lisa Snowdon etc, but I don't think they would send Louis home over her, and actually I'm not 100% sure either will find themselves in the dance off. I think Denise is more popular than you might think. Although it will all depend on how the semi final works, if there's a dance off in it then they might be in trouble.

Not a Denise fan btw the way, more Michael/Victoria/Fern, haven't chosen the one I'll support in the final yet, which will no doubt be out of Denise/Louis/Kimberley

Every year there is a male celebrity whom the judges are pickier about than the other dancers. I certainly felt Tom Chambers, Ricky Whittle and Matt Baker, to name a few, were held to a higher standard than the other celebs in their years. Louis left me a bit cold at the start of the competition but he is the celebrity who has grown on me the most. He is one of the few performers whose dances are anticipated with a frisson of excitement, his serious but not stroppy attitude is great and his impersonations of Brendan, Anton, Vincent and Robin dancing were so spot on it was untrue. I love it when I am surprised about who turns out to be my favourite.

6 was too low and 9 too high. I was quite disappointed this week, it was just dull. His place on the leaderboard with a score of 33 is about right.

To put it into context, the only person Craig marked lower was Michael (5). He marked Fern the same (6). If this is scripted to try to create a storyline, then I'm not very impressed. Louis doesn't need that treatment - he's going to win anyway. I think it must feel a bit personal to Louis and Flavia because they will know that they didn't deserve that mark.

And PS - I do not fancy him, in case anyone accuses me of that. I am way too old and sensible to ogle anyone with 'directional' hair.

Yes. Well, kind of, cos there is no third it adds up to the same thing in points.

Do we really need to resort to name calling?

I completely agree, I do not see anyone left in the competition that isn't giving it their all.

I wouldn't blame her for feeling hurt . To work hard all week and go out and perform a technically good routine only for it to be harshly criticised is really unfair. I know it's happened before on Strictly and is likely to happen again because it makes good tv but there was no need for it.

Watching the judges all falling out was quite uncomfortable as well. I'm glad that they disagreed with Craig as I felt that he was very harsh but for Flavia and Louis to have to stand there and listen to them argue over what was in my opinion a beautiful waltz ruined the enjoyment of the dance for me if I'm honest .

I can only think he must have it in for Louis or perhaps he fancies him and this is a sort of reverse psychology or some sort of ology anyway (crapology maybe).
If he was mean with others marks it wouldn't be so pointed.

With the exception of Darcey, all of the judges behaved like brats. Terrible spoilt behaviour from the lot of them. Darcey managed to disagree without screaming 'shut up'. It's daft. We have no Bruce so the timing shouldn't have been an issue but because of this unmannered display, once again, couples are leaving the dancefloor without hearing all the comments. Trashy behaviour.

Talking of which, I thought Len's "I now know Richard is your hairdresser" was a bit rude and uncalled for.

I thought that was rude as well. That had nothing to do with his dancing so why mention his haircut.
