To be honest he had a fair placing on the leaderboard and on the whole that mark was accurate. I think hes a better dancer then what Flavia makes him do in samba and waltz.

No way is Louis the baby of the class! He's young, I agree, and I like that
But there's a lot more to him. He was captain of the men's gymnastic team at the Olympics, and showed great maturity when he tied for the gold medal and was given silver by the tiniest of technicalities.
I think the show is emphasising his youth ...it makes for a good balance to the show and he is young enough to be okay with it

Why's that? I'm missing something.

If Flavia can choreograph his chosen music to the chosen dance and it can be played by the band why not let the celebs choose their own music which they obviously love and can relate?

95% of the music just is quite inappropriate for the dances anyway. Listen to the music without watching and it will largely be impossible to tell which dance they are dancing.

Maybe they can't be given free rein - it might be too much of a responsibility for most - but their views should at least be taken seriously into account, imo.

And I agree, often the music currently chosen seems to bear little if any relation to the dance ......this needs attention I think. Music and dance should be nearly inextricable

Maybe the pro could choose a few songs from the celeb's MP3 player iPod- at least for the first four dances to get confidence going and match them to dances. And let the pro choose the the first four dances as well. All the better if there are several of the same dance to compare initially.

There is enough variety in the celebs' age and background to generate variety in the music.

Some good ideas
Strictly can be a bit, well strict sometimes, I think. A bit more flexibility in the first few dances would be great....and more varied music choice would help

I was amazed to hear Louis say, on ITT, that he likes Frankie Lymon so maybe he could do a quickstep to "Why Do Fools Fall in Love"

Jive too obvious?

And as it isn't Cuban, Dominican or Colombian, how about Salsa?

One for Richard surely?

For the first time I dislike Craig. He has completely lost the plot with Louis.

I begin to think , as Bruno said, that he is not a good enough judge as he can't dance himself.

I think it's quite similar to the way Len has been excessively harsh on female dancers such as Rachel Stevens, Kara Tointon and now Kimberley because he had high expectations for them and they weren't quite meeting them. At least that's what I got from what he said to Louis on ITT. It's not that I'm saying that Louis deserved such low marks (but then he also doesn't deserve marks as high as Kimberley, Denise and Dani who actually bother to perform their dances) but no one ever used Len's harshness as a basis to to doubt his credibility as his judge, nor has he ever received half the flack Craig has for giving Louis a few 6s.

But do viewers want a winner who's the baby of the class? ”

I thought Louis was very young, the same age as Tom Daley even. I was distressed to discover that he's only a year younger than me

The things that distress us eh

Actually despite being 23 I've always seen him as a young lad used to being called down from his bedroom for dinner. I supposed that's what comes from being so focused on the one area.

That waltz brought a tear to my eye.

I thought so too initially. I love Louis but he's definitely too "young" in his ways to be fanciable to me, it's more "aw bless his little cotton socks" but his waltz was the most beautiful dance of the series so far in my opinion.

He is the only celeb I actually look forward to watching even though it still hasn't fully come together yet

Maybe you weren't around in 2010 when Len handed out a 6 to Kara and Artem for their incredible American Smooth at Blackpool

Not much of a fan but if he were to win I would be happy for Flavia as I like her. He reminds me of Harry on the dancefloor, a bit dull and never performs the dance, just something missing for me.

Some people seem to think he should be top of the leaderboard every week but I think his places have been reasonable. I suppose we all like different people, I'm not much of a Louis fan but I like Denise and Victoria. God help me on this place, right?

Not at all, although I'm mainly supporting Louis, I like Victoria as a person and have voted for her. I haven't voted for Denise, but I hope she makes the final - I thought her VW and paso were awesome. I was a bit pissed that the VW didn't get tens actually.

I'm actually really enjoying this year - I've got my favourite but everyone still on the show has done at least one dance that I've really liked.

I know what you mean. I think actually even if I'm not a fan of someone, I still like them as a person and I'm finding it difficult as each week goes on because I would be sad if any of them left. I don't dislike any of them.

Okay. I've just found out Louis wants his own reality show

的 would like to have a crew following me around, when I知 not in an environment where I have to be responsible, when I知 just me. I think the public would enjoy seeing what I get up to.

http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/str...n-tv-show.html

I still love him, but I have a bad feeling once he's (hopefully) lifted the glitterball and moves on into the next stage of his career he's going to really start trying my patience
