In the top 3 consistently, though perhaps not the best of the top three, who are, Kimberley, Louis and Denise, all of whom I expect to be in the final.

Denise at the moment is the best of the lot and might get the highest scores in the final, but I reckon she goes out first, and Louis and Kimberley fight it out for the Glitterballl.

I just think the Girls Aloud fanbase will be too strong for Louis' fanbase

Consistently over marked

Her and Pasha seem to have the most natural rapport, and that can go a long way.

No chance.

I could be wrong of course and as much as I would love to see someone other than the obvious Louis/Denise final, Kim is far too wobbly, at week 6 now she should be stronger on her feet and not making so many little errors. Unless she rapidly improves on those things i think shes looking at 4th..

I do love her and thought tonight's dance was touching and gorgeous.

That would be fabulous.

she has all the potential and has done pretty well, but she hasn't yet had that breakthrough moment.... her and [pasha ought to be the most electric pairing out there, but they seem a bit barbified, plastic, polished, automata

I would love for her and Pasta to win, but it's way too early to say. From here, if I had to pick one, it still looks like Louis to me.

Anyway, as long as they're in the comp I'm enjoying them. There's an emotional depth in Pasha's ballroom that Kimberley is terrific at delivering, I feel.

her dances are kinda samey and she doesn't seem to have improved much.
At the moment I see the best female Denise, best male Louis and one underdog Lisa or Victoria in the final.
So no place for Kim unless she ups her game dramatically

I just don't get any excitement from watching Kimberley. When you compare her to the likes of Kara Tointon or Alesha Dixon who have won in the past, she's just not in the same league.

If she wins, it will be down to her GA fanbase. I like her, she seems nice enough, but as much as I like Pasha, their chemistry just is nothing compared to that of Pasha and Chelsee last year. For me, she's competent but just a bit "meh".

Genuinely not being snarky - who/what does the Girls' Aloud fanbase consist of? I mean really, who are they - and are they likely to be SCD viewers?

I don't think the fanbase you bring in to the show is anywhere near as important as the fanbase you cultivate during the show.

IMO Kimberley will be the first or second runner-up.

I completely agree with your comments. Personally, I did see more of an emotional connection tonight, it was nice to see them look into each others eyes the way they did. Really sold the dance for me.

It may come down to a Louis/Kimberley final and I hope it does - in which case I hope it comes down to whoever is good on the night. Sadly last year Chelsee didn't get it quite right on final night and it was a bit one-sided.
I wouldn't underestimate Louis's fanbase though - I think it's growing all the time.

Just what I was thinking. It's not like Westlife, still less like McFly or 1D or any of that lot.

Girls Aloud/Kimberley fans will be viewing SCD because Kimberley is on it, if they aren't regular viewers.

I disagree about the bold bit. This partnership seems more equal, rather than a parent /child situation.

Each to their own

Pasha and Chelsee had me hooked last year. I absolutely loved their relationship. Pasha and Kimberley are just, well, a bit  to me.

That would be a nice reversal to the events of last season.

Louis is my 'Kara' this year in that right from the beginning, I have gone back and watched his dances many times and thought they were great.

I think I've only really felt like that about those two, plus Alesha and Rachel really.

I went to a Girls Aloud concert, and the GA fanbase was predominantly the Girls and the Gays, but there where a lot of casual pop fans, families etc

Pretty much like Louis's fanbase
Apart from the casual pop fans bit.
