just baked some cheese scones
As in the title, I have not done any baking for months and months. i used my halogen oven and it done a really good job, mind you it is the crisp and bake, not a normal halogen oven.
i love cheese scones and you can't beat home made. Just thought i would share that.

My grandmother insists the best way to make cheese scones is by hand, which is why whenever she makes cheese scones for me, she always makes them by hand, and in my opinion, they taste much better than if made by a halogen oven!

Well, I made Lasagne last night and it was a disaster. It tasted OK, but the Pasta wasn't cooked on the top, I didn't make enough pasta and I didn't put the sauce on in the right order.

You might still be able to save it. If you place it in a dish with a little bit of water around it, it should hydrate the pasta. I've done this and it worked. Mind you, that was when it was a bit dried out, rather than not cooked but it might be worth trying.

Omg! I adore cheese scones over fruit ones - chutney, pickles & more mature cheddar ( veggie version) and I'm won over. Sadly, I'm on a fat free diet.
![]() Cheese pasties etc - love them. I'm not that over weight ( a stone but I'm 54 so it's harderI used to add a little thyme, chilli flakes & parsley to mine.

So how do she bake them, in her hands? I made them by hand, i just baked them in the Halogen instead of a normal oven. |

Scones are so easy to make and take minutes, to put together and minutes to bake. I am going to bake some Ginger nuts over the weekend, just need to get some golden Syrup tomorrow.
I will try them in the Halogen as well. |

For a bit of variety I add some fried red onion to cheese scones. Sun dried tomato works well too as does paprika or just some mixed herbs.
