I'm curious, has anyone else heard of this band, nobodu I know has. It's frustrating, as their album 'Lunatic Ride' is amazing!!

I bought their first couple of singles but never got around to buying the album.

I thought they were OK, if a bit polished. Reminded me of JJ72.

Mew have done the "power-pop" thing in a similar style, only much better, IMO.

Are you thinking of the female double act Halo? That's who I thought of when I saw the post but then remembered they're crap.

Unless they've just toured with Pig Destroyer (which I'm doubting), I think we've now found three Halos! Any more?

I know the Halo you are talking about. Average but likeable band that Sony plowed lots of money into but didnt pay off. They have split now and started a new band, the name of which escapes me.
