So if he's playing Live in Newcastle tonight how can he also be live on the X Factor when his show started an hour ago?

His gig in Newcastle was pre-recorded so he could perform on the x factor live

Think I read from applausestore.com a couple of days ago that they were going to pre record Ed on Friday and invited people to come watch him

He probably sent Rupert Grint to Newcastle to do the gig for him.

You really need to ask this.

As there's no way, anyone would pay to go watch a live gig in Newcastle, and only see a few vids of his. LOL

It's a fair question. They probably show the performance on the screens.
