Double standards. It was just another reason to attack Cheryl, but there's no reason why he would have to choose.

It's also Cheryl that is getting the 'blame' for 'allowing' judges to refuse to vote, with people completely forgetting that Sharon refused to vote and I'm sure someone did in the earlier years when it was just the three of them.
And noone has mentioned at all that Kelly refused to vote. But Louis isn't female so noone will care. |

I think the difference was, cheryl refused to vote when it meant her refusing would guarantee an act going home IIRC. She knew refusing would send TreyC(was it?) home whereas she could have sent it to deadlock if she really couldnt chose.
Louis voted first. |

It was a predictable thing of him to do. Uncle Louis likes to be loved.

Louis voted first. Cheryl was asked second to vote, meaning both acts could still stay. |

No, there were still other judges to vote after Cheryl because I remember her saying "let them vote, come back to me and I'll send it to deadlock".
![]() I didnt know Sharon refused either actually I think its a cop out when any of them refuse to vote really. They know one is better than the other... |

I started a thread below in which I started a mini backlash at Louis bottling it like a wimpy bottling glass object type thing.

It's only Louis and it's not as if it mattered who went. Both cannon fodder acts.

How can you not remember Sharon refusing to vote? It was during Dannii & Dermot's first live show and she 'quit' live on air
.Maybe I didnt watch that series/episode. I'm sure I would have remembered that. |

There's an overwhelming feeling of indifference towards both groups on this forum which is why no-one cares.

I thought he was quite right and I thought Cheryl was quite right at the time. I was more annoyed with the way it was done with Cheryl. She said if she'd have been asked last she would take it to deadlock and before that point if a judge had two acts in the bottom 2 they were always asked last.

Personally I couldn't care less, so many judges have done it before.

the Chris fans basically just stuck it to Louis Walsh, payback is never pretty, I have no issue with him not voting, always has been a bit gutless that way

He knew district 3 would fall on the sword as Gary and Nicole have been critical of them in the past, he knew if he was to vote it would make him look bad,so get Nicole and Gary to do his dirty work for him. It's been quite obvious that he believes more in union j.
