He had no problem choosing between Mary and Wagner.

Simon had no choice in sending his own act home over Chico either

Mary was clearly a better singer than Wagner though.

My guess is that he didn't want it to go to deadlock, in case his favoured group was at the bottom,

I just think of how much that p***k gets paid to sit there being an 'expert' and then cant choose one of his acts to leave. He seemed shocked when Dermot came to him first as i'm 100% he would have taken it to deadlock if need be.

I'm glad Union J stayed over District 3 but its not fair that louis din't have to vote, ain't that the whole point in having a sing off is that the judges have to vote for who they want to send home. I know it's happened before but surely after the first time it happened they should of ditched the sing off or made sure no judge did this again.

Union J will probably be top 4 now. There is no way they wouldnt be saved over Rylan or Chris. |

Louis chose Mary over Wagner and Kitty over Johnny. He also sent home one of his acts in favour of an Irish act in 2005.

I think the only reason why he didnt choose because I think Union J were bottom and they didnt want it to go to deadlock because they would sent home and not District3.
Thats what I think anyway |

I dislike how his refusal was just blithely accepted by Dermot. I mean, I dislike when people through the judges' exorbitant wages in my face, but COME ON, you're making that much money to judge and you can simply opt out of doing so whenever it doesn't suit you? Bit of a joke.
And who cares if he's chosen between his acts in the past? He didn't on Sunday. |

I think there should be a rule that if a mentor has both acts in the bottom 2 then they must pick first before the other 3 judges and if they refuse to pick then both acts are sent home. They are not really 'their' acts and at every other stage in the competition they have sent acts home including by themselves at judges' houses stage. My idea would be an improvement to the show and cause great squirming and controversy, just what the show loves.
