As things currently stand with probably not.

Even with a giganta mega hit like 'We Found Love' Talk This Talk was more Rated R than Loud. However saying that the thing Loud had but Rated R and TTT lacked was numerous worldwide smashes, so if Unapologetic has more What's My Name and S&M's over You Da One and Talk That Talk's then quite possibly.

Judging from the album previews the album sounds absolutely dreadful, so maybe not.

The album has lots of good songs, but so did Talk That Talk.

Apart from We Found Love, Talk That Talk wasn't erally THAT successful. It's definitely possible to beat, but Rihanna's album isn't very dance-pop-ish. It's not like a Lady Gaga or Katy Perry album thats full of obvious hits. It could go either way.

I don't really care that much. I hope the album goes well, but I'm mainly just excited to hear the songs in full.

This album seems to not be in a commercial way that Loud and Good girl were and I find the least commercial and least radio friendly music that RIhanna's music is, it ends up being the best music from her.

It all depends on the single releases really. Singles can make and break albums.

I think Right Now will be a hit, but it's hard to tell without having heard the whole album. But it already doesn't sound full of hits like GGGB or Loud. I reckon it will perform similarly to TTT and RR. I really like the sound she's gone with on this album though.

TTT wasn't eaxctly a flop but of course nowehre in the realms of loud or GGB either. The pronblem is the constant release and decline in material with each album represents a disintrest creeping in from the general public. She needs a few big hitters for this album to be a success i doubt it'll flop it's already top 10 on iTunes on pre-order alone.

I think TTT has been pretty sucessful in the UK has it not?
It'll be over 1,000,000 copies in the UK by Christmas!

Unapologetic in my opinion sounds like a Rated R type album and im really looking forward to it as its my favourite album from her.

Rated R>Loud>TalkThatTalk>GoodGirlGoneBad>AGirlLikeMe>MusicOfTheSun

The songs im intrigued to hear are; What Now; Pour It Up; Right Now & Half Of Me

I loved TTT on the first few listens but after about a fortnight I grew sick of it and not listened to it since. Very uninspiring singles too aside from WFL and WHYB.

Not a massive fan of Diamonds either so I'll be holding off buying this one until i've heard the 2nd single.

Her best album is definitely Rated R. I absolutely love that album! Funny how that was the last album where she had a couple of years off to work on it

The dvd is a 20 minute preview of her Loud DVD live at the 02
The deluxe also contains a song called Half of me (written by Emeli sande) and two remixes of Diamonds. Not much to worth spending an extra couple of quid to be honest.

Undeniably, but even so it's sales were still down a million in the UK and three million worldwide compared to Loud's.

Is she actually finally going to release the Loud tour on DVD then?

On pre-orders alone its No.20 on UK iTunes and No.3 in the USA. I think this might be her first album to go No.1 in America!

i don't mind paying the extra to have the deluxe album, but that is a bit ropey. why not include the loud live dvd in full? she`s touring again next year, so a dvd release of the loud tour seems pointless now considering that tour was 2 albums back.

Depends, but I don't think sales= brilliant album.

My favourite Rihanna and Britney albums (Rated R and Blackout) were both the singers least successful albums in terms of sales. I thought Rated R was much better than Loud which sold much more, and TTT was better than Loud too, but Loud sold more between the three.

Pour It Up definitely sounds very interesting. Sounds like it'll be one of the darkest songs Rihanna's ever done.

What Now sounds really promising aswell. The chorus is HUGE, and the verses have such a nice melody imo.

It depends.

It will definitely enjoy better first week sales in the US than all her previous albums did and 'Diamonds' will be a huge hit, not on the level of 'WFL', but still pretty massive. The thing is that, judging by the previews, which are admittedly very indicative, she barely has 3 potential worldwide smashes on the album, except if the trend finally changes and urban pop makes a triumphant return. If she promotes the few strong songs she's got, she can reach the sales of 'TTT', but I don't think she can top them

Well it had an amazing first single in 'Diamonds' but I'm not sure how big the album will be. Personally I think Talk That Talk felt too rushed (as did Loud in some ways). She needs to take some time away and actually work on decent album rather than an album of filler with a couple of good singles.

Rated R for me is still my favourite album of hers.

I think it will be if Rihanna gets off her lazy ass and actually promotes this time...and not promote a song that is 6 months past its peak.

She has already and does have some major US promo down for this album.

She's only SNL and has an interview with Ellen coming up (hope she performs there). Does she have much else there?

I'm wanting her to promote Worldwide and especially the UK. She done only 3 proper TV appearances for the last era and at that its was only We Found Love performed and Talk That Talk (single) which never even had a video.

She's about to do her 777 tour. 7weeks/days? 7 countries. 7 something else. She's bringing like 100+ media people from across the world with her including the person who runs Popjustice. That should provide great promo for the album.
