The email address registered with my Xbox Live account is about 15 years old, I was a teen when I opened it so you can imagine there's lots of junk going there. I can't be bothered to sort it all out.

I have set up a new email address just for gaming so all my registration stuff and licence keys etc will go there.

So can I change over to a new address just like that with no issues?
Also are "Xbox Rewards" seperate and will I need to change that seperately.
Lastly, my EA account that my xbox logs onto when I play FIFA is that same address, can I change that too without losing EASFC info, or even more importantly my Ultimate Team?

You can change over your address, but note that if something goes wrong like you don't type it correctly when trying to change it or if it's already attached to another Microsoft account, that means that you have tried to "change" something on your account and you can only have one change every 30 days. You'll have to wait like I have to now until mid-December before I can change my e-mail address.

I tried to change my e-mail but because installing Windows 8 had automatically assigned a new XBOX Live username to my current e-mail (and my very old email was still attached to my already existing XBOX Live account), the only way to sign in on Windows 8 was to swap e-mails over as it goes by e-mail not username for some stupid reason. This in itself is a total pain in the ass and thanks to Microsoft being so strict, I can't do anything with my XBOX Live account on Windows 8 until next month, all over the inability to change an e-mail for 30 days even though I didn't get to change it in the first place!

While logged on my new email address I'm almost certain I haven't gone near the Xbox website. I'll give it a go and hope for the best haha.
Thanks for the reply, I hope you get yours sorted next month and don't encounter another problem next month!
