I have an o2/btcellnet payg sim card its the type you put £10 a month on for 300mins wap & 300 text,

the problem is that i can't get a connection any more its been like this since about last saturday and its not just me i know about 4 other people on the same sim and we all can't get on-line to wap via dial up.

I wonder if anybody else is having the same problem and why is this not working any more?

I have a simular tariff where by i topup with £10 a month and get 300 texts and 1MB download on GPRS - this maybe why it doesn't work. If your phone has GPRS download the settings and try that.

Do you think the dial up service as stopped now?

You can still access the o2 serivces this way (i think but by the sounds of your problem you may not be able to anymore) but the tariff you are on (if it is the same as mine, which it sounds to be) doesn't or no longer gives you free time with this - it is now 1MB GPRS.

I haven't been able to access WAP via dial up on the same tariff as you for a few weeks. I get a page not found message. I guess they've stopped dial up WAP now. I switched to GPRS and it works fine.

GRPS is faster but i would watch you don't go over your free 1MB...its gets expensive after that!

Its working again now, i tried at 13:30 still no joy then i tried again at 14:30 and it worked.
