The wonderful Christopher Maloney is a standing beacon of greatness. Every week he gets through he is facing down nasty, bigoted bullies who are despicably causing harm to the health of his little Nan. (I’ve already complained to Ofcom about this vile harassment)

His talent should ensure a comfortable victory. His voice is undoubtedly the strongest this year, if not ever.

In the history of the show there are not too many people who can claim to have a greater voice than Christopher. He is simply marvellous.

However, a Christopher victory will be much more than a triumph of pure talent. .

It will be a moral victory for all those who have ever suffered hardship in their lives.

Chris is the living embodiment of courage in the face of adversity.

We are with you Chris, you’ll never walk alone.

I know the feeling…. when it comes to Christopher’s magnificence, there are simply not enough adjectives.

Last night when he got through it was the highest point of my week. I was so emotional, that I cried myself to sleep.

The strength he gives to those who are enduring terrible difficulties is beyond words.

He is our hero, our leader, our champion.
