Do you prefer Nicole on X Factor UK or X Factor USA?

I watched them both (when she was on USA version) and personally I prefer her on UK version. On the USA version she seemed very boring and 'Praise the lord jesus' maybe because Simon was there so she didn't feel she could have fun. But on the UK panel she seems to have much more fun and enjoy it and be funny, I think when she was on USA version she never would go to stand on the table (like she was going to after Rylans performance) she just seems to enjoy it more.

What are your views?

I don't see any particular problems with her. The critiques she gives are always honest, firm and fair .. much better than Louis who just says "YOU MADE IT YOUR OWN" or Tulisa who says "You stripped it back blah blah" .. she gives really good judgement.

And I'd also smash her back doors in.

Cheryl seemed to be the overall preferred option in the us and Nicole is favoured in the uk, generally speaking. Really didn't like Nicole on the us one, she made some shocking decisions when it came to the bottom 2. (Although the cynic in me says maybe they weren't her decisions), but really like her on this one

Abigail88, are you talking about online perception or overall? I'm not a big fan of Cheryl but given that she joined and stayed through it's peak, all the press attention and fans she had, I would never ever say that Nicole has been preferred to Cheryl.

I am completely shocked that I like Nicole on the UK version. She was dreadful on the US version. Her mentoring was poor with the song choices and production (although we never know how much of that is producer influence). Her critiques were weak and when she was having fun it came across as irritating. In the UK she has been honest, very funny and the most watchable out of the four judges.

Nicole was really dull on the US one, and not the best mentor either (to be fair she didn't have much to work with), however on the flipside she's probably even better than Dannii and Cheryl on the UK one, she's absolutely brilliant and mentors really well! I love her, my favourite judge ever on X Factor and she's just batshit crazy! Practically the one saving grace of a very weak series.

pretty much the same as you. what i saw of Nicole on the US show I didn't like, it was too fake. I guess she felt in the shadow of Simon and Paula
I like her energy and excitement on the UK show, she's pretty much the best thing about the show and good to see she's got 3 acts even if i can't stand Toys R Us Morrissey James ARthur

Thought I'd like her, but to much grating "Look at ME" I'm wonderful. Fake.

She was too weepy on the US version, perhaps it came too soon after her split from Lewis Hamilton. We saw a sample of that this weekend when she was emotional after Jahmene sang and it continued after District 3 followed him by doing a song she 'personally identified with'. Imagine her being like that for most of the show.

The biggest problem with Nicole and the US show was that she didn't plan to be on the panel, she was there as co-presenter but got roped into it when producers worried Cheryl Cole's accent would prove impenetrable with viewers. She then came across as too much like Paula Abdul, who cried just as much and talked about transcendentalism, beautiful colours of the rainbow, and soaring across the universe etc. At one stage they were so alike I thought Nicole was in fact doing a deliberate parody of 'gypsy Abdul', but it had backfired.

On the UK show she seems to have a different personality entirely, much stronger, and is very different from the other judges, so she stands out. I prefer her on the UK version.

I really like her on the UK Version I think the US X factor edited her badly and made her appear to be a bimbo but am loving her on uk x factor

Totally agree! I personally cannot stand her, way too force and just annoying.

Neither, Got a real dislike to her after the USA and can't seem to warm to her ever since. One thing I really dislike is drama queens and she is one of them.

She is a great judge. Dannii was good but Nicole is more natural on live telly. She's genuinly funny. Dannii is awkward funny.

I didn't dislike her on the US version, but think she's been great on our version. The best judge, and mentor IMO. Fully deserving of having all three acts still in.

”

She was emotional because her grandmother has recently died, so she can relate to both those songs right now. That's why she's flown to America with Lewis, for the funeral. Not the romantic getaway the Dail Fail tried to make it out to be.

Best female judge for me was Danny Minogue, she never tried to do a Sharon, talk anyone down, or a Cheryl, think she was some kinda queen, or Tulisa, if Tulisa is Urbanm wtf is she doing on the x factor. Nicole's ok i dont mind her, can be quite funny
