Union J knew they were in the bottom 2 with district3 before results were announced?

If you re watched the result show, union j were given microphones BEFORE the result was announced

Weird how they have their microphones before they know
if they're in the bottom 2 or not.

Plus, when the judges name was called out in the beginning, you could see on Louis' face that he knew something.

They probably gave all of the groups one during the break just in case for efficiency.

Just watched it on ITV Player, Christopher had a microphone too. The three acts must have been given them in the ad break.

They all would have been - as the break is usually there to give the acts microphones so they are ready to sing

it was clear that the 2 groups would be in the bottom and D3 knew they were gone, they didnt cry or anything during the singoff or the voting, they just knew, whereas as UJ were in bits.

that should be the only microphone you never ever want to sing to

They're passionate about it, I'd be more surprised if they weren't upset

Yes, shame on them for actually giving a sh!t... seriously some of the comments on threads by disgruntled D3 fans is hilarious.

UJ were a thousand times better in the sing off - if D3 wanted to stay so badly they should've put more into it at the end - whether they thought they were going or not, you should go out on a high, not on an out of tune whimper

The only conspiracy theory that I noticed was when they returned from the break to announce the final act going through, as Dermot's mid-pause, watch Josh from Union J's (second from the left) mouth, he mouths 'Christopher' and a second later Dermot calls Chris' name out.

Me and my brothers were watching it back earlier and I just happened to notice it and we found it quite amusing.

I noticed that too. I don't think its a conspiracy theory in that they knew the results of the Bottom 2 before Dermot announced it, just that Josh expected (correctly, as it turned out) Christopher to make it through.

Leaving someone as seemingly unpopular with the teens as Maloney til the end with the boybanders just added to the suspense as he seems to be who the majority want out next, and thus gave a bit of hope that he would be in the Bottom 2.

I think it's because they guessed Dermot was dragging it out as it was a "shock" bottom two (i.e bands etc). I said to my housemate it would be Chris going through.

Unless there was a bottom two voting leak, like there was the time Aiden Grimshaw left, I can't see the acts knowing much.

District 3 did go out on a high they did their best performance on Saturday and they defnitely didnt deserve to go on Sunday but you know what they better off the show because the show didnt want them there. I also would like to say I really hope Union J go out next week as they are still very lucky to be in the competition.

D3 didnt desreve to be in the sing off after sat night and as there fans of course we are going to come on here and defend them,as you would do if it was UJ!and how could they give it their all when they knew they were gone!it must have been so hard. They are better of out of it anyways as the show clearly favoured UJ ,so good luck to both of them. D3 will do well no matter what

If they didn't get the votes then they do deserve to be there - same as UJ

Jade and Melanie seemed to be able to do it - you go out fighting, not on an out of tune whimper and with acceptance.

I didn't say acts shouldn't be defended - its just reading some of the reasoning and posts in threads the defense if frankly a complete load of bollocks

Don't forget union J's first sing off was the worst in the entire competition as of yet.
