Mia and the Moon
I was a little unsure at first when I saw the song, I was a bit ohhhh whats this gonna be like. And I must say, I think it worked well. It wasnt like an amazing performance, like some of your past performances. But it was very good, and totally something I can see you putting on an album, or doing in a gig. But I want a few more of those winning, #1 single performances, cause you can do it!

Mia and the Moon

You are by far my favorite act in the competition. I have highly praised the previous direction in the competition but i absolutely hated this song for you. I dont think that it did your vocals justice. It didnt showcase the endearing individuality we saw in your first audition. I was utterly unimpressed and you should continue in the route that was actually perfect. Having said that, i really want to see you next week so i hope that you will be safe.

I really love the tone of your voice. You can go between this really soft kinda tone, all the way to a bit more gritter side. So this showed the great soft part of your vocals. And I thought it was a mazing!!!!

Soz quick comment, cause I lost my original one, and its my own act so who cares haha!!!

Adam Burridge

Imma be straight with you tonight and that was simply outstanding. You are definitely the most consistent in this competition but i hope to see something that is out of the box rather than just using the same kinda cover songs every week. No doubt the arrangement was perfect, vocals were perfect, delivery was perfect, articulation was perfect. I loved that performance from start to end. Well done.

Hey y'all, sorry this is a bit late, MEGA stressful day, anyway here are my comments:

Carolynne Poole
So last week I sort of tried the country side of things with you, and I can completely understand why you ended up in the bottom 3 – it was quite dated and uninspired really, and not your best, although I still maintain it fitted you well vocally and stylistically. I’ve sort of tried this week to keep to the identity I’ve tried to present of you, as someone quite emotive and expressive with the focus on your tone, and I think this song does that for you. It’s such a lovely song, and I could really see you killing it on stage, and I hope it’s enough to keep you this week.

Lauren Smith
SD is doing such a brilliant job with you that he’s kind of engineered a little bit of a problem for himself, in that he’s set such a high standard for you, and last week was definitely the pinnacle of that. This song choice was very good, it’s a really nice cover of a brilliant song and like every other week, you’re up there in the mix, but I didn’t find it as amazing as previous weeks. The past few weeks sort of have pushed boundaries a little bit more, whereas this kind of rested on being pretty and adorable, a little bit overly sweet. Either way it was very good, though.

From Above
You’ve actually always been my favourite group, and I think the thing I like most about you is your versatility – you’ve managed to jump around quite a lot stylistically, but this sort of revists old ground a bit, and it really feels like your true direction. It was extraordinary, especially considering the traumatic departure of Chris from your group, and I’m sure it’ll win you a lot of votes. The song itself wasn’t my favourite, but as a performance it worked, and it worked well,so I salute Jess for that.

Robbie Hance
Robbie you’ve been consistently good in the past, and this was actually a very brave song choice for you. I’m really sorry to say that I didn’t actually love it as much as I have some of your past performances, a lot of the magic of the original is in the arrangement, and also in Florence’s voice, and although it was very ambitious, I don’t think this recreation, or your specific voice could really bring it so much. I am glad you tried something new though, it would have been so easy for you to pick something dull and obvious, so well played to Dylan for the risk.

Melanie Masson
I know this song has been used before on games, but I really do think there’s a reason for that, and that it works so nicely for your voice – I really couldn’t think of anything that could really top it. It kind of had everything – a restraint in the verses, the amazing power notes for you to really unleash on, it tested different areas of your vocals – particularly the higher register we haven’t seen so much of, it hit every button. I’ve sort of tried different aspects of the same genre with you – softer ballads, bigger more powerful numbers, this week was a great middle ground for you, although I think theres a lot more to explore in the future, if we get there. I really hope other people think it’s as bang on for you as I do this week.

Mia & the Moon
Well, Kate Bush is without a doubt one of the best British acts of all time, and at first I was a little bit worried about her for you when I saw the song list, it’s a step outside of what you’ve done before. But listening to the song, I could absolutely see how it works, it’s a great song, beautiful, hypnotic, very charming and new ground for you and I think it works quite nicely with you as an act, although it’s quite a change from what Jess has given you before. Anyway, I think your direct competition this time is with Carolynne, so it’ll be interesting to see how you fare in comparison to eachother, but congratulations on a great performance.

Adam Burridge
I don’t really think this performance is anything we haven’t seen from you before, but that’s not necessarily a negative – you’ve been consistently brilliant, and Dylan seems to have found the magic formula for you, that was such a great performance. The vocal on this was dead on perfect for you, it’s an excellent track and I could really see you making the second half of the song in particular absolutely incredible and show-stopping. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed it.
