does anyone on here vote for chris? if so are you voting because you like him or simply because xfactor clearly don't want him to win. he's really not my cup of tea but the producers are all out to scupper him even though the very concept of the show is to allow the public to decide.

The total absence of replies indicates nobody votes for Baloney apart from MeNan a thousand times an hour.

It is very simple - he chooses a song, sings the melody of that song, well and in tune

As opposed to, for example, Jahmehne who chooses a song, sings something barely recognisable as the melody of that song, and sounding like a cat that is in the process of being castrated.

A number of small people are voting for him in large numbers because they think he actually stands a chance of lasting longer than a year at Syco.

Voting for him because we love him. Get over it and be aware that more people are now coming round to supporting him because of the hate group that are making fools of themselves. Please don't stop . The more you hate the more certain of votes Chris can be because people genuinely love him. If you don't like him then learn how to use the off switch

Oh so funny! The absence of replies is because almost all the other threads are about Chris. Seems he's getting more popular by the minute.

don't see the point of comparing them... jahmene hasn't been in the B2 as well...

I'm voting because:

I love him
He has beautiful eyes
I love how he sings songs from the 80/90s ect
He seems like a fun guy
He seems genuine and nice
I want him to win so I can see him smile
His nan would be happy too.

Good voice and he's singing songs that the viewers actually recognise every week.

It would appear the producers and the "judges" don't know their own audience, with their attempts at making the show 'current' and 'edgy' and 'relevant', and all the while bashing Chris for his trouble.

Chris is my favourite. I love 80's music and it doesn't even come close to the "music" of this generation.

I'm not voting for anyone as I don't won't to fill up Simon Cowell's wallet any more than it is already

A lot of people I know do like him and are supporting him, I think he appeals to a lot of people out there. Personally I think he's hideous but in it's attempt to become a "yoof" show the X Factor has alienated a lot of it's older audience and he's the only person they feel they can get behind in this series.

I ye forgot he has an amazing voice better than Ella and jaheme he's consistent. Shame that the judges never hear that jaheme and Ella are sometimes off key.

I think he's dreadful. He's dated and basically a, just above average, pub singer. But I'm beginning to enjoy the terror that the producers must be feeling that he is still there.

What will be more fun is the fact that the other judges will have to be glowing about him soon. To do otherwise would be an admission that a mediocre crooner has made the final stages.

Thank you for saying this. I've just started a thread about the same thing, in their bid to be "urban" and "current" they've basically alienated half of the audience. It's supposed to be a family show but right now they are no longer appealing to a family audience.

Current doesn't mean anything. It's a made up term to make us think the judges know something we don't. Also used as a stick to beat poor Louis.

It's probably connected to Cowell and Syco trying to find the acts they can make most money from, but sneering at Chris and his music and his voters seems like a crass mistake to me.

The irony is, if they let Chris make an album of covers people would actually buy it. It would probably sell really well and make a lot of money for Syco.

I think Chris is getting 2 types of vote.

Obviously his 'fans' as per everyone else's reasons above - those that genuinely like the songs, those that like him as a person, sympathy for horrible comments, those that like his nan etc.

But I think he is also the person getting the 'vote for the worst' type trolls who are voting for him just to annoy Simon Cowell and the producers to try to wind them up and ruin their show. I'm sure Chris gets at least 10% of his votes this way. Rylan might have got this vote but I think Chris is so obviously the candidate that would be the biggest nightmare to have to waste £1m contract on.
