Re-Launch The X Factor
Just what I thought might be an interesting idea, what would you want to see if Simon Cowell did a Pop Idol and rebranded The X Factor. What changes to the format, judging panel etc.. would you like to see and would you watch it if it refocused-Personally, I'd like to see a more live 'gig' style show with a small amount of artists touring small venues etc... to build experience before the live shows-Other ideas?

No more putting through novelty acts. It is stopping real singers getting through.
Also only have judges that can sing themselves. Judges also should write down who gets eliminated as i feel sometimes they delibrately bring it to deadlock.. At least one extra impartial judge too |

Make it clear what the shows target is, "x-factor" is such a non-concept, it can be taken to mean almost anything.
"The Voice" is much clearer. |

Closed auditions. Each mentor has 1 of each category. Results on a later (and shorter) Saturday show. No bottom two, just least votes goes. 1 million cash prize for the winner at the end.
