Worst Music Video to Accompany a Potential Chart Hit in 2012
I was watching Bruno Mars' video for "Locked Out of Heaven" and personally I can't get over how bad the video is, and it is still scaling the iTunes chart...

... so it got me thinking: this year have there been other videos you thought were dire considering they were potential huge hits?

Another I noticed was Ke$ha's "Die Young" - an odd, potentially good video wasted with odd effects and bad editing.

Kesha Die Young is supposed to be a mock Illuminati one with all those satanic symbols. Hope to God it's not serious.

Nicki Minaj's Starships is my worst - Quite like the song but the beach whoring part was awful

Starships though I loved how surreal it was! Lovely Imagery!

Bruno's is good no? The song itself is amazing that is why it is selling. Hearing it sells it.

Oh, I agree, but the music video is the most common promotion tool, but I can't bring myself to watch it really. I just have an extreme dislike of the video now. I thought that was clear, sorry. The fact that the music video was horrible for a hit song was what sparked this thread in my head.
