It would depend on whether the producers of the show have given him false assurances. There's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy confidence but he's hardly as OTT as the likes of Kitty or Misha B. I'd like to think he was genuine.

Yeah that's what I loved as well, Rylan just whisking him along when things got uncomfortable haha Rylan seems like a great guy, and I'm sure he wouldn't have gotten to top 6 if he wasn't so nice (and the judges keep hammering on about it as well)

Well it'd be a boring place if we all agreed!

I never seen on tv Misha B being over confident, only read about it. She just wasn't very appealing, sad cause she did have a good voice. Something about James makes me think he is a cocky one, just hiding it, but your right he hasn't showed that, just a feeling and his eye contact with people. The Caroline Flack jokes he makes don't come over as working either

Stop twisting my words, I have said countless times, people can critque him all they want on his music. But there are posters out there turning every post even slightly related to James into an excuse to call him ugly or arrogant.

I was merely making the point that a thread which was about a contestant calling Christopher a diva turned into a "James gives short answers in interviews, he is a moody child, terrible person, axe murderer,"

You are the one that suggests posters agree to disagree on James, yet you jump down the throat of anyone who defends him or says a nice thing about him.

I don't think anyone on this thread said any of the highlighted. I think its the over exaggeration that grabs at me but I am not going any further. i apologise for misreading your post. No one here has even touched on looks yet that is brought up time and again. I was going to stop and now I will because I know where this will go and I won't like it.

It's not an admisssion.

It's an accusation.

Or maybe it's a confirmation.

My thoughts too. Typical peacemaker.
