the contestants make me sick

i hate the fact they all bully chris, with the weird looks whenever he speaks, and the claims of being a diva and annoying in interviews. mainly talking about kye, ella and james

no-one deserves to be bullied even if they are a diva

A weird look isn't bullying and it's quite possible they are speaking the truth so that isn't classed as bullying either.

I've noticed some of them, Kye and Ella for example, giving him odd looks when he's speaking on Xtra Factor but I took that to mean that maybe he wasn't being entirely truthful with what he was saying, particularly when they were discussing Kye and Christopher's alleged row at Rylan's party.

This might not be the case either but I don't think looking at him constitutes bullying, that's watering the meaning down.

Poor little Christopher. A sixteen year old said naughty things about him. Poor poor Christopher. He is such an angel.

Bloody hell with this word bullying, people honestly need to get a grip here. The man is old enough, big enough and by all accounts narcissistic enough to defend himself. There is no need to make him into some helpless little bairn to compensate for his use of emotional blackmail and victimhood which people are swallowing hook line and sinker it seems.

Anyone who goes on a show like that should realise it's a cattle market and should grow a pair!

I would guess its the other way around with Chris trying to bully (control) some of the others as he`s older and its probably being taken the wrong way by the young popstars bless em.. I know Kye used to always offer his "advice" to the youngers - sometimes successfully. Its not abnormal for an older person to try take others under their wing - its just how its done that could be perceived wrongly.

The way george shelley looked with the electric strimmer in the tresemme vid - it didnt look like he wanted to cut his hair. George is such a wimpy lad it must have taken a lot to make him want to do anything to Chris lol.

And Chris saying he will allow the hairdresser to carve TS on the back of his head if he reaches the final. Both seem quite confident of that - the hairdresser wants to do a large one.

maybe he should carve a big O instead.

If you think theres drama now - wait till the tours over and they start selling their stories to the sun.

They mentioned it as a "News Flash" on Xtra Factor on Hallow'een week (I think?) that Kye and Christopher supposedly had an argument after Rylan's birthday night out, and alleged Christopher had called Kye "something that rhymes with bat".

As I remember it, Olly and Caroline asked them to clear up the matter and Kye stayed silent looking completely unsurprised but Christopher, his voice getting more and more shrill, went bright red in the face and vehemently denied it, while trying to put his arm around Kye who looked like he'd rather be anywhere else in the world. Kye confirmed that Christopher certainly didn't call him a bat, which most people took to mean that he did call him a... pregnant female fish, shall we say.

Really?

I'm not saying Chris is being bullied, but your perception of what can and can't be bullying is quite alarming.

Exactly what I was thinking about him, no joke.

Could have been a drunken rave but those two sound like they wouldn't gel at all. Funny.

Since Kye left its become more and more evident that there's no love lost between them, so I think it probably happened

I do hope so - it's about time someone can see through his (evil?) spell!

Alarming?????

Giving someone a bad look is bullying?

Possibly speaking the truth about someone is bullying?

Are you sure?

As usual on DS the word "bullying" is bandied around with gay abandon without any apparent justification.

It's just the usual hatchet job that Mary and Janet received for having the audacity to be more popular than the producer's intended them to be.

I don't think DigitalSpy Forums are the right place to look for sympathy for the contestants tbh.

Ive never seen any bullying but I get what you mean, they seem to diss him or feel they are more important, I'm sure he's a nice guy just has no charisma, if he shut his eyes while singing, it might help, and perhaps his mouth lol

Yes, alarming. Is your question mark key stuck? I think one would suffice.

I think you'll find I didn't highlight the bad look part.

And it's all about context. At school I was bullied for various reasons, one being my financial situation. It was true that I was poor, that didn't make it any less bullying. If you think someone is a diva, it doesn't excuse trying to make that person uncomfortable for it.

I'm not saying anybody is doing this to Chris, I have no idea either way. But, yes, bullies can and do use the truth to victimise people.

Chris isn't even being bullied. When he came on this show, he should have expected not to be universally liked, to accept criticism and deal with it.

Rylan has had a much harder time of it than Chris by the public, but he hasn't been desperate to be liked by everybody as he's aware that he will divide opinion. It's disgusting that some sob story has been created for him when he's actually very lucky to be there and should be grateful, rather than threatening to quit and not appreciating the public support he's been receiving.

Noooooooooooooo my ???????? isn't stuck. Neither is my oooooooooooo for that matter.

Being truthful isn't bullying............whichever way you look at it. I was bought up to tell the truth. How you find my perception of bullying alarming is a tad over the top. You have no idea about what I think and don't think and you can't make assumptions because I think telling the truth is the right way to go. Do you expect them to lie?

For your information I LOVE a Diva, always have always will. So being diva(ish) isn't a problem with me. Being fake and thinking you are more important than you actually are yes, I do have a problem with that.

I'm sorry for your experience in your younger days, but you aren't the topic in this thread are you?

I never said telling the truth was bullying. I said using an aspect of someones' life or personality to belittle them, however, can definitely be bullying. As I've said more than once if you cared to read properly, I'm not saying this is happening to Chris. But your statement that being truthful cannot be bullying full stop is, in my honest opinion, incorrect. It's all in the context.

As do I. But I wouldn't lower myself to somebody's level, you lose all credibility by doing so.

I don't recall saying I was. I'm perfectly entitled to draw upon my own experiences to explain why I feel a certain way about a topic. Please direct me to where I made myself the topic.
