I like steve and i liked roberta, i am pleased steve won, i am not keen on G4 but they are good singers and were worthy runners up, i think Tabby and Cassie needed better management, i liked verity for over comming her self belive, i think rowetta could sing a blinding bond theme, i dont have much opinion on the others.

G4 were worthy runners up. I couldn't stand them at the beginning, but they won me over as a solid entertainment performance that was something different.
I have respect for all of the live show performers. It can't be easy to sing in front of an audience of millions (plus a large studio audience) when you're only used to a small crowd. Respect! |

I liked most of the contestants although I'm not gonna be mean about those I didn't like
![]() G4 weren't my faves to start with, I liked Tabby but I came to my senses soon enough (no offence Tabby fans) |

Good thread Bailey
Lets have some positive comment here ![]() My favourites thorughout were Rowetta and Steve, I'm glad Steve won but think Ro is fabulous as well. G4 never did much for me, but they were definitely worthy finalists and I hope they will go on to do very well. Tabby, again he didn't appeal to me much, but I can see why he was popular and I reckon he could do well too. I hope all the last four contestants get recording contracts and do well - there is room for all of them. As for the other contestants, I don't have strong views either way. If any of them get recording deals I wish them well - go for it. |

I liked, in no particular order.
Steve - lovely voice - need to remember his lines G4 - Talented, need a bit of work to soften their voices Rowetta - god could she bang out a tune - mad as a bunny on speed Tabby - Performer but not a great voice then again neither has Bod Dylan Peter (2 to go) - Solo he would rock Cassie - competent but her voice needs to mature VWS - Great singers but full of it Roberta - Competent but Andy should have had her place Verity - Nice voice but just not powerful enough There you go. one nice thing and one peice of constructive criticism for each. - I feel better now. Very cathartic

My favourites were G4 from the start, and i am quite glad the came second, as i would have been worried about them working with Simon.
The only acts i really liked was Tabby - i think he performed really well and VWS - more for their humour than performances. Steve and Cassie were OK, not my music at all and FOR ME quite dull. Rowetta was OK in terms of singing but her mad personality really annoyed me, so i went off her in the end. I really didn't get Verity and 2 To Go, and thought there were better people who should have taken their places. Can't really comment on Roberta but, again i wasn't a huge fan of her voice. Roll on some material from G4 now and Good Luck to Steve for his single and album!! |

![]() ![]() G4 did well to get to where they did, they do have quite good voices and did their best on the night, shame they were on Louis team, but I wish them the best of luck. I think Rowetta will do well, she will be back to do something else for sure. Steve is obviously going to do very very well being on Simon's team, sure he will be around for a long time to come.

![]() Oodlesofnoodles: refferring to Verity as a fox was offensive to me, so no you cannot be politically correct. As a woman of veritys age i find it offensive that you would liken us to animals that are regarded by many as vermin. I am a human being thank you very much, with thoughts and feelings. I am also an ethnic minority, and i find your comments about "diversity makes this country great" pantronising ! |

I would love to be able to hold a tune, but am tone deaf, so I have much respect for all the entrants (even the really bad ones at the auditions, they had the nerve to try, and lets be fair they DID entertain us!).
I was confused as to why some got through to the live rounds when others didn't, but I think the final four we the right choice out of the nine that started. The point I wanted to make is that, sadly, despite the huge amount of talent, I will be surprised if any of them will be high in the popularity stakes this time next year. Will Young, Lemar, maybe Darius have been the lucky few........... I also felt that although I have found Simon's almost breathtaking remarks entertaining in the past (part way through PI1, I found myself agreeing with him, and haven't looked back!), I have found Louis and Sharon's remarks less than constructive in the main. They were either too nice or too personal/off the point, and just (mainly) didn't feel honest. IMHO anyway |
