A landmark birthday for Dot, Ian or Sharon would be good and an opportunity for some guest appearances by old faces maybe? Would prefer whatever happens to be a happy event for once in soap land.

Will be a sad day but I tend to agree. It would at least be fitting to give her a massive send off in an event style week...and I dont mean blow her up in an explosion, I just mean make a theme of her exit , bring back Nick maybe, some footage of Jim, perhaps they can film at his house and make it look like a nursing home or something, something special for our dear old Dot.
Better to do it at 30 then risk waiting for 35 and having her ill or worse
Having said that she seems fit and feisty and could have another 20 years left in her lol
