Who cares about the actual background music, this change causes a far bigger problem: how does one download the EPG data from Sky now (e.g. on an HTPC)??

I don't think they are allowed to leave them unused for too long otherwise they lose them.

Someone on here will know the rules better than me!

It depends on who BT have secured the slots from, if it's another broadcaster already available on the Sky EPG then both slots will almost certainly be for SD versions of BT's channels. If BT have secured these two slots from Sky themselves then the two slots will be for HD versions of their channels.

Not for the first time, or second or third or....joshua arrives late at the party posting news he has just discovered as if it were fresh when others have been discussing it for days. And he claims to have aspirations as a journalist..

Also since it is HD / MPEG-4 surely you would not see it on a non HD box.

Is this still present on 11390V, looks like it's been removed from that Txp, or configured off it at this time of night.

That's what I thought but looks like it's possibly been configured off the multiplex. Can you see the label listed? I've been away for a few weeks so only just catching up on having a nosy at these new services testing, even if it is only a slapper on the sofa in HD!!

Yep, defninitely has gone, very strange.

Also, EPG info shows that 'ABP News' will cease broadcasting at 11:00am this morning, presumably 'Star Jalsha' will be added to EPG 808 shortly after.

Update

11.261 H, 27.500, 2/3.

"52112"......has now been relabelled as 'Star Jalsha'.

Edit 1: 'ABP News' has now been removed from Sky EPG 808.

Currently showing 'No signal' off the EPG on 12.643 V, 27.500, 2/3.

Edit 2: 'Star Jalsha' has been added to Sky EPG 808.

Edit 3: Not sure whats going on, but I've got 'ABP News' still listed on my EPG (using a standard Sky digibox) at channel number 65535.

NEW

12.207 V, 27.500, 2/3.

'SNRNEW'.....Silent audio channel.

RR- there's probably no point listed this as it's presumably something to do with Sky News Radio, and won't turn into anything important.

Me too, unless they've been kicked back down the HD launch queue until after Christmas and Playboy have decided to come off that Multiplex/Transponder until closer to launch to save costs?
