i am wanting to get my son a ipad mini for Christmas but the Apple shop and Argos have sold out so will they get any in before Christmas?

why is there such low stock?

Order directly from Apple. They're quoting a 2 week lead time at the moment, so you'll easily get it in time for Christmas.

They have been showing 2 weeks for the past 4 weeks, got mine from sainsburys the other day, using mini iPad stock checkers.

Seems retailers last week got a bit of stock, all doing delivery only,now seems to be no stock again.

You can get iPads no probs, even the new one. I think apple are producing on demand and not full production it seems. It's worth ordering online on apple, it's easy to cancel if you pick one up in the mean time, if its not despacthed.

Insight are showing stock, have ordered from them before.

My local HMV shop has had several the last two Saturdays!

FWIW Tesco Direct are currently listing some iPad Mini models in stock but a lot as unavailable.
