I am trying to find out which building the sniper scene was filmed on, the one where Matilda shoots the jogger in Cenral Park, I have found a photo that I am sure is the same rooftop now and there is a nice terrace there, anyone know which building it was filmed on?

Google earth might be useful for this

Yeah I have tried that and searched Google etc but had no luck, it could be any of the buildings on west side of Central Park according to Google Maps.

There's always the possibility that they used more than one rooftop - they could have shot a view showing central park but did the close-ups etc in another location.

From that image xjem linked it looks north north east of the North tower of the World Trade Centre. Buildings on Washington Square perhaps?

Its on the edge of Central Park which is a few miles from World Trade centre buildings, I know where it is on the map roughly, just wondered if anyone knew exactly which building, looking unlikely though, Thanks anyway

Then why don't you get in touch with the location people of that production? Daniel Coss, Helen Beadleston and Isabelle Kostic-Crosby were in charge of arranging NYC locations for the Leon production. They all are easily found on Facebook and elsewhere.
