There are probably a few novelty christmas songs that you could put into this category.

Some REAL cheese from the 80s like this, this, and, perhaps most embarrassingly, this.

They played Mr Blobby on the radio the other day and I've got to say I quite enjoyed it

Not sure why people are embaressed about liking Call Me Maybe. It's a really good pop song and no different to the kind of songs Katy Perry releases

Samantha Fox:- Touch Me
McFly:- 5 Colours in Her Hair

and to a lesser extent from this year

The Wanted:- Chasing the Sun - I think they were no 2 when We Are Young was no 1; surely the best top 2 of 2012 so far?

I have all 3 of those. I wouldn't consider the 'Self Control' one to be anything to be embarrassed about. I think it's a great song and I love Laura Brannigan's vocal on it. 'Whatever I Do' is probably one of about 2 or 3 songs that I actually like written by SAW. 'Wired For Sound' - yeah this is one of those 'guilty pleasure' type songs. It's the only Cliff song I've got and I do like it.

Novelty song wise I like 'Monster Mash' and a couple of the Muppet tunes. I can flit from silly to serious songs very easily. If I like it, I like it - simple as that.

Do also find myself singing along to the 'Shaun the Sheep' theme song as performed by Vic Reeves.
