Because JT was never meant to be a exit theme? Just used when the duff duffs were not appropriate. People need to understand that just because a character leaves important or popular then it does not always need a JT. The theme would not have blended into the stand by me music well anyway. I am sure some fan will redo it with the theme so you can all smile. Having said that Ms Smith would not have recognised many of these new badly written characters as worthy of anything.

Because they didn't deserve it of course........

Well I'm glad they got an ending that had them together in the end.

Hopefully this mickey taking will die down in a few days/weeks and their fans can look back on their story and be happy with their ending (even if they weren't always happy with what happened in between the moment they met to their leaving EE).

For heaven's sake its not about "deserving it" it does not matter who the character is. When will people get it that JTs theme was NEVER supposed to be a exit theme? JTs theme first appeared in 85 and it was not till 96 it was used at the same time as a exit. Does that clarify it at all for you? It is newbie fans who predict when a character leaves if they will get a JT theme because they do not understand what the purpose of JT theme is.

Its comments like this that have rendered this whole Julia's theme a load of crap. I couldn't give a $h!t about these two leaving - I didn't mind Christian but the whole storyline has lost all credability with how they have become 'accepted' and best friends with Zainab.

As for Syeed - what a DRIP ! Useless actor - terrible, not that he's alone there are some awful actors in EE atm.

I thought the ending was pretty damn good. Leaving while Stand by Me was playing was pretty smart if you ask me.

Sorry but when others are rejoicing because JT theme didn't come on for their ending to me it seems like they are saying that they didn't deserve it because they don't like them or think they are anything special.

And for heaven sake I was never trying to say that they DO deserve it

To me it does not matter if a character is leaving or not as its not a exit theme it is if the music is appropriate. In this case it would not have been so it was good it did not happen. Just like when Chrissie left one of my favs she didn't get it either again not appropriate. Whereas an use which was not an exit of Sue and Ali it was appropriate. There was speculation of pretty much any character when they leave if they will get the theme and to me its silly it was never supposed to be an exit theme or show it to be an important exit.

It was Pete Lawson writing for a small group of diehard 'Chryed' fans if you ask me. Cheesey, like the wedding.

Look this 'SBM' was apparently used in one Chryed episode in 2010, a detail that the general audience probably won't even remember, I doubt it was even that significant and a key part of the scene at the time, it then came back for the wedding and their exit storyline. This is just some cheesey in-reference for those who 'get' Chryed it means nothing to 99% of the audience.

Zainab and Massood accepting them like that.. It's so silly. That's what makes a mockery to their religion

They already had Julia's Theme (and a tube train shot) in an almost identical end scene.
