I might be really stupid but they look like they have smartphones, surely they have access to Google to search for these items that they don't know what they are?!

I am still struggling with an ethernet and miles of cable.
Shsss, don' t mention cable, as hub loves them,and I had to place a rug over one so that I could walk on the carpet. He even blocks the freezer...duh!

They're small candles, about halfway between tealights and standard pillars.
yes, the ones you find in some churches that you pay a £1 or so for and add to a big rack of other candles that people have already lit

Yes, I think so. I sell votives in my shop, but mine aren't really for religious purposes, though the origin of the term does, as you say, lie in the RC church.

I think it was two seasons ago where one of them had the sense to ring the library and find out what every item was (or some of the items. Think it was the brilliant Stella). I'm not sure why it's so hard to find out for them.
